These adapters seem to do exactly what they say.They support high speed USB-C and Hi-Rate charging.I was only able to test their power handling up to a negotiated level of 20V at 3 Amps (60 watts) as, at present, this is the highest charging requirement I have. The adapters worked well and only became very slightly warm at this charge rate.I have also been able to verify, by using a USB Cable Checker, that the adapters fully support all the connection requirements needed to operate at 40Gbps.

The metal casing of the male to male coupler came off in my fingers the first time I tried connecting it. It was like the glue holding it together had perished.
