Great value! Plants love it.
Very bright light! It emits a bit of heat but not too much. It is rather bright! I have several plants doing well under it. 5 pots with various herbs. Mint, Basil, Sage, etc...The T5 bulbs are 24 watts each. 2 foot long T5's don't have any higher wattage bulbs available.I use T 12 bulbs as well. Haven't tried the T8's yet.T12 bulbs can be placed as close to plants as you like. The leaves can touch the bulbs, as some of mine are doing now, and no burning will occur. The T5 bulbs will burn the leaves if touching. The plants must remain couple of inches away or the leaves will dry out. A small fan is a must to move the air around.4 foot, 24 watt T12 bulbs produce the same amount of heat as 2 foot, 24 watt T5 bulbs. The difference is the heat is dissipated along a longer and thicker area with the T12 bulbs. Makes sense.I have tomato, pepper and carrot plants under 2 of these lights. They are all doing well. They are not getting leggy as they do under T12 lights.I initially purchased 1 light. Then a second. A third will be ordered soon.

Affordable indoor light solution for plants
Affordable, no-frills indoor light solution for plants. Includes four T5H0 bulbs that give a "cool" light, as well as "hook and chain" loops for hanging, which are simple but adequate. Note the the "hooks" in the hook and chain loops are for adjusting the length of the loop, not for attaching to the ceiling. You will need to provide something to hang this fixture from. I like the fact that you can turn on or off the bulbs in pairs (outer pair and inner pair) and you can "daisy-chain" multiple fixtures together if desired. The reflective surface that looks like mylar foil in the picture is actually solid, and sturdier than it appears (though probably easily bent).Minor complaints: be aware that it does put off a surprising amount of heat, which I assume is normal for this sort of fixture. The look of the fixture is unrefined, though at this price point, I can't complain.

Great light for the money!
Great light for the money. For the folks here giving bad reviews, keep in mind that this is a $55 4 bulb grow light. If you price shop then you know that is a very competitive price. If you assemble the light carefully, hang it, and leave it alone...it works great. I bought 2 of these last spring and plan on buying about 4 more this coming year. Yes they get warm. They are not LED and they put out a ton of light. They are going to create heat. I use these for starting seedlings and I wrap a blanket around the shelf that I have my trays in and utilize the heat from the lamps to keep the plants and soil warm. They work great like this. You do have to tend to your plants as they grow and raise the lights accordingly as they will burn the foliage if contact is made. I ran my lights on a power strip and a timer to minimize the movement of the fixtures. In my opinion, for $55, you get more than your moneys worth.

T5 Grow Light with 4 2 foot bulbs works great! small build quality issue
This grow light is a nice concept but the execution leaves something to be desired. It works very well and has been working for a year now with no problemsPros:Metal construction4 lights provides very good light and the reflector directs the light where it needs to goLong cord provides good distance for the light to put where you want itHas an additional outlet to accessories in such as a fanCons:Kind of flimsy feelingSome screws or something that is supposed to lock everything in place on the light are missing or fell out in shippingThis is causing the light to flex more than it should and have a general feeling of cheapness associated with it.I am not going to open the electrical compartment on the top in an attempt to repair it and put whatever is missing back in placeOverall I would buy it again but would probably spend just a bit more on something with a little bit better build quality.

Great light and good price
I've had this light for a month now and it's working great. Have spinach, radicchio, peppers and arugula growing in the basement nicely under this light. Has the option to adjust brightness from turning on just two lights or all four lights at once, which I sometimes use when I feel like four lights may be drying the soil out too fast in this dry, frigid January weather. I had to build my own stand for this light as I didn't want to drill any hooks into the ceiling to hold it, but it was super easy to do. Literally took me 30 minutes to construct a simple frame wooden stand using scrap wood from the garage. So far, I'm very happy with the light. It seems to be of good quality and I'm considering buying another one to expand my indoor garden next winter.

I LOVE THIS LIGHT
the shipping was freaking ridiculously fast even during the holiday season. this light is really bright all my vegetables love it and the reflector is just amazing doubling the usable light the already perfect t5 lights [WHICH ARE INCLUDED] produce. I'm going to buy more of these due to the quality and best price any where around. oh and you can chain 12 of these things together into one mega light system with a single timer for all your different veggies. my only complaint is the shipping isn't very discreet it has grow light written all over the box but that doesn't even bother me because the light is just so amazing. just stop reading now and buy this light, you wont regret it. the bulbs are so safe the way they have them wrapped and the super strong double cardboard box its shipped in can really take a beating if needed and still keep your item safe.

Awesome light awesome price
You couldn’t possibly go wrong buying this light . The price was absolutely unbeatable , after shopping around and looking at 4 different hydroponics stores nowhere sold a 4 bank 2’ t5 fixture for anything less than $160 . This was so cheap I even did 1 day shipping and it was still only $112 . Light came in tact with zero problems . Bulbs in tact and light didnt have a scratch or ding anywhere on it . It’s light weight , very bright and totally decent quality . The fact that you can also plug them into each other and string them along is also great . VERY happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat . It’s perfect !

Great for the money. Double switch that works with timer.
Great for $75. 2 switches is very convenient and works great with a timer. Using in a veg tent on a 18/6 cycle with good air flow and it barely gets warm to the touch. Using at 6-12” from the plants and the plants like it, but i added a 2 foot jcbritw LED light next to it and there was noticeable growth improvement. I would recommend having some airflow over the lamp though.Packaging was ok, seemed sufficient. Lights come in a cardboard tube. The metal reflector is a little flimsy though as some people have mentioned but the light just hangs there so it’s fine. Not like you’re putting drinks on it. It DOES make it a little sketchy when placing the light down though, u may want to lay it upside down with the lights up as you’re preparing to hang it.Somebody also commented that the wire is a little overkill for 100w? Well, if they were smart enough, they would realize that’s to handle the power of daisy chaining... it IS thick, but it’s for a reason.... nobody’s overkilling anything on a budget.Overall very happy with the purchase. Would recommend and buy again.

Very good light. Highly recommend.
Very pleased with this purchase so far. I bought two and have been using them for three months. Both units arrived quickly, with all the parts, and in good working order. My plants have done amazing under them. Some people have commented about them getting hot but I’ve had mine on for 24hrs straight at times and they don’t get hot at all. I plan on purchasing more in the future. The only reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is the price has increased since I purchased the first two. Lol

Just perfect
Product works 100%, Bulbs came intact & the product arrived 4 days before christmas day. The quality of the ballast & tubes is amazing for the price. Im surprised no one has left a review yet. I see no difference between this T5 system and the more expensive ones. There is only a small lumen difference at most. Not to mention it comes with 2 seperate switches so you can keep half the light on and half off. Perfect for small spaces, or conserving your bulbs. This fits perfectly in my 2x2 tent and covers the entire area. I am a huge fan of mars hydro led, but i also noticed their lumen level is only 4,200 for 300 watts. So this is higher. I would recommend getting an LED with this system for veg, as you will acquire a better spectrum. But it is not needed.

Broken Bulbs, Shoulve expected that as they’re flourescent tubes!
I ordered this light and it came with 3 / 4 broken bulbs and also did not work. Amazon customer service was great, they refunded me and I was able to purchase another one right away but once again the second one came with a bent reflector & 3/4 broken bulbs, I was able to switch the reflector from the first one to the second one & i Now have a light that works with 2 bulbs! It does give off a lot of heat for a such a small light not the bulbs, the ballast so it’s fairly hot when you touch the top of it. I’d also like to add that replacement bulbs for this cost more then this light it self! Unless you can find some locally which I was able to do but they’re $25 each 👎🏼 instead bought a new light but this did work excellent for my seedlings even with 2 bulbs lol oh! Amazon covered the shipping cost of sending the broken unit back! Amazon 5/5 for customer service, Durolux 3/5 id give this a 5/5 if it came with no broken bulbs & not damaged as it does seem to be a pretty good quality light! Very bright!
