How do you take them out of fine hair, so as not to damage the hair?

I use a small scissors to cut them that why no hair is damaged. But be careful not to cut the hair.

Are these the shiny looking ones? Because i bought some shiny looking ones which are no good.

No these are matte rubber ones. They are really strong. I use them to put my hair in a ponytail and my hair is thick and not one of them has snapped . Best ones iv bought.
