Homesick Scented Candle, Georgia

I bought the Homesick GA scented candle for my brother and SIL because they were moving to FL. My SIL told me the candle smelled like sweet tea brewing. She loves it and reminds her of home! Totally worth it.

This has absolutely no scent. I was so excited to get this (not cheap) candle, but now I'm disappointed. It burned for hours, and I never smelled anything at all. I will probably throw it away and go get a candle from Target that I can actually smell.

I was quite excited to receive the candle, and very disappointed to find that I feel it smells pretty unpleasant. I could never have a candle in my home that smelled like this. I even asked my friends to smell it to see if they agreed as smell is subjective, and they did agree it smells unpleasant. I saw all the positive reviews so was quite surprised.

I gave this as a gift to my husband who is originally from Georgia and is now living in another state, as he's been feeling homesick. I had no idea if the scent would actually remind him of Georgia or if he would like it, since it's not something he's actually asked for. But the scent is pleasant, and he sits it on his desk at home and uses it all the time.I was happy with the way it was packaged, too, and it arrived quickly. It's more than I would normally spend on a candle, but with the sentiment (and with it being quite large), I think it was worth the price.Plus, it was for our fourth anniversary, which is the "fruit and flowers" one, so the peaches and magnolias in the scent made this a gift to fit the theme!

Got these as gifts to family who have moved to South Carolina from Georgia.The scent is a little odd. Like peach with a minty, almost stress-relieving note. It may be the combination of scents that adds the unexpected note. You definitely smell the peach!They were immediately lit and you don't notice the scent as they burn as much as say many bath and body works candles. I hope they last a while because they seemed to be burning down pretty quickly.Either way, I think these make a great gift!

My husband is from Georgia, born and raised. He always talks about missing home. I purchased this one for him and absolutely loves it. To me it reminds me of picking the first fresh peach off the tree. It has alot of undertones that all mix extremely well together. I can't wait to purchase more down the road as gifts.

I could smell it before opening the Amazon package box. Georgia smells like sweet tea and peaches. It smells SO GOOD. Overpriced, yes. But it's a one time Christmas gift.

Love the idea of these; a little pricey but make great gifts. I can usually smell it right when I light it and then it’s not very strong.
