Gave this set as a gift to my son and his new wife. They were gobsmacked. Something I'll look forward to adding to over the years.

Purchased these plates as a gift during the Amazon black Monday, so received what I thought was an appropriate price for the set. I particularly liked this set for the dinner plate as I prefer that plate to have it's decoration limited to the outer perimeter of the plates, leaving the center white to better display what is being served.The salad plate with the Tree design makes a nice set alone or center place during festive gatherings.I would prefer a bowl, or a larger cup as these cups were no bigger than one might use for espresso, something most folks don't serve at a dinner party.The set was packed very well allowing all the pieces to arrive safely. The plates appeared to be a good weight and the design appeared to be well adhered to the plates giving the impression they would hold up well with use.

They are beautiful, with a good quality china stone feel to them. I wish there was a set with the bowls instead of the mugs though.

They colors are so vibrant. The dishes are medium heavy, and inwas looking for something lighter. This worked well.

I love this set of holiday dishes from Spode. The holiday images are clear and bright against the creamy, antique-looking color of the plate. The mugs are adorable -- they are on the smaller side (which I like, but pay attention to the size if that’s important to you), and the little decoration inside the cup itself is cute. They look great when you stack the smaller plate on the larger for a lovely holiday place setting. I am also thrilled they say they are dishwasher, microwave and freezer safe, so I don’t have to worry about them in most situations. I was looking for something that would have a warm, traditional feel for holiday meals, and these are perfect.

I'm so excited to finally have a Spode set for Christmas Eve. It's gorgeous! Beautifully painted with the famous Spode Christmas tree on the desert plates and a holy leaf design on the plate and cup. This does not come with bowls, but I didn't need any for Christmas Eve. I can't wait to set my table with this set.
