Perfex 2459 4.5" Adjustable Stainless Steel Mechanism Salt Grinder Mill, Aluminum, Silver

The first new grinder I tried got clogged up with the moisture that sea salt makes, so I purchased this brand instead. As long as you want find ground, this is excellent. I find the consistency of the larger grinds less good, but works fine for my household. So easy to load, since you don't have to take anything apart. Solid, so doesn't get knocked over on the counter as much.

This grinder is really cool, but the wrapping was really bad. It was send in a poor package. not wrapped or anything. It unfortunately got some dents in the mail :-(

They don't look or feel like they are knock offs, but something is wrong here.I've owned the bigger pepper mill from the same company, and it's worked great for over 15 years.Feels like someone is buying up the rejects from the company and selling them at a discount.I'd be really careful with this product.

I was first introduced to Perfex pepper mills by a noted French chef that I worked for. These mills were used every night by those of us in the kitchen. They always worked perfectly. Fast forward 25 years and I recently bought the salt mill for my own kitchen. It works as well as I remember the pepper mills from long ago. Some things don’t need to be changed and these Perfex mills epitomize that standard of excellence.

When I read some BAD reviews on the Prefix Salt and Pepper shakers, I was a bit nervous to buy them although I've always wanted them. Let me tell everyone here, I've experienced the total opposite!!!!! These shakers in my view are the VERY BEST IN THE WORLD MARKET ANYWHERE...DEFINITELY THE "BEST" AND #1 IN ALL RESPECTS. I highly recommend them. Materials, quality and workmanship are all the BEST OF THE BEST! Yes, they're expensive but for me I'm perfectly willing to pay more to get more...in this case, THE BEST!
