This is not my first Yoshi reel and probably won't be my last. I honestly do not think you can get a better bait runner reel with this quality for this kind of money. I originally purchased the 3000 as a reel for my medium feeder rod that I use for pellet feeder and method fishing, so smooth, fighting drag is excellent too, works the way it should and has never let me down yet. great line capacity and the transition from free running bait runner to engaging the reel is again so smooth. the free run lever is nice and easy to operate, same as on any shimano reel, positive and smooth. the reel itself is of what seem to be quality materials and well put together, eye pleasing too if that floats ya boat. the anti-reverse works as it should and again is seamless, with no play at all ! I would highly recommend this reel if your budget is under £30....all day long ! Thanks.

For the price its just great with one exception it needs just that little bit more balancing but other than that works great , UPDATE not to say this update efects the reel in any way BUT it does have this annoying rubbing sound when tension is put on the line , i have checked for rubbing under the spool checked the bail arm roller but cant figure it out but i will , update to come ..Thanks

Nice small reel which I use on my stalker rod. I find now when using braid, smaller reels more useful when roaming. This is a very smooth reel. I have had no problems casting dead baits for pike fishing. My first pike on it (though not a big one 8lbs) the clutch worked very well. I had intended to get a more expensive small baitrunner reel (as I find expensive ones last longer and are usually more reliable) but the one I wanted was not available. So far this reel has surprise me especially for the price. The only issues I have are a spare spool would be handy, the fold up handle does not lock up when not in use, and the line does not lay as smoothly on the spool as on my more expensive reels. Even so I feel its excellent value and I will continue to use it.

But for one thing the reel would be quite good vfm and at first seemeddecent quality. But that one thing is a complete showstopper. At the line roller end of the bale arm .....the bale arm itself comes out of its seating hole and needs pushing back in. Then it pops out again. Grrrr. You simply can't have this happening during reeling in. It makes me wonder what else cheap and faulty lurks within this far eastern piece of tat. Buy established brands like Penn Abu Shimano Daiwa Mitchell or similar tried and tested makes. Give this brand a miss.

I liked the looks of this reel, so i bought one. Having used it for a while now and it is still as smooth and easy to use as when i first bought it. Liked it so much i got another for my other rod.

Solid reel for attractively low price. I heard about this reel from my fishing partner, who has been fishing saltwater from the surf for 20+ years consistently for 1-3 times per week. He fishes with nice equipment: $300 Shimano reels, $150-250 rods, etc....so imagine how shocked I was when he showed up one day with his new Yoshikaw reel (purchased off of Amazon) and after casting for 30 minutes, was raving entire time about how smooth & powerful the reel performed!We first a couple of more times together, noticing he still was fishing with the Yoshikawa, and when I inquired more about it, does he still like it, how much it cost & where he bought it? Etc.. I was no longer a skeptic.I went home and ordered the exact same Yoshikawa CY6000 (from Amazon, along w/ a few other fishermens' must haves:) that evening, and received my items without any hiccups a few days later.I've had the Yoshikawa for about 5 months now and have fished 2 times a week consistently with it. Ive fish from the beach and from my kayak with the Yoshikawa and found it performed so well that I ordered a 2nd one!I'm merely an intermediate level fisherman who will not like purchase high end fishing equipment (unless maybe I hit the lottery) but instead enjoying finding and using solid and affordable equipment. I recommend the Yoshikawa 100% and recommend this seller as well, as they were efficient and responsive each time I asked a questions.

Ottima fluidità(11 cuscinetti), archetto rinforzato, manico ergonomico e velocità di recupero rendono questo mulinello una vera macchina da guerra per carp fishing ( si consiglia 5000-6000) e per il feeder (si consiglia 4000-5000) grazie al bait-runner abbastanza preciso. Unico neo è la mancanza di un altra bobina di ricambio per adattarlo a esigenze di diametro o natura dei fili (nylon-trecciato) diverse, sopperisce e merita le mie 5 stelle per il prezzo più che abbordabile. Non ha nulla da invidiare a marche blasonate e molto più costose.
