This is something I've always wanted, and my boys and I have had fun marking all the places we've traveled together as a family. So far, the detail on the map has been good enough that we've been able to find all the places we've gone. Most major cities are marked and have a little dot or square so you can put your pin in the precise spot. The pins give a nice, satisfying "pop!" when you push them through the canvas.The quality of the frame and canvas are good, with hardware included to hang the piece on your wall. There was a little (less than one inch square) scratch on the back of the canvas, but it didn't affect the front at all.There are four different colors of pins included with the map. It would be nice if there were a few more colors of pins so each family member could have their own color, or to have more options for what each color pin stands for. A couple of the pictures in the ad show blue and red pins (we received yellow, green, black, and white), so I'm not sure why they weren't included?Overall, though, I'm very happy with it and will enjoy marking all the places we travel for years to come!

I really liked this World Map Canvas. The quality is top notch and it comes ready to hang so it can be on in wall in a matter of seconds. Ordered for my kids, but the cities on the Map could have been better selected. The Pins are nice to have but are not the easiest to pin on the canvas so probably better to not have your kids try to push them in.

All my life, I've been fascinated by maps. I was looking for a nice-sized model for my home office recently, and was curious about this one from canvas art bay. I like it so far.The map arrives very well protected. The seller wraps it in bubble wrap, with a thick protective cardboard sheet over the canvas. It was in perfect condition upon unpacking.The canvas is stretched and stapled neatly onto the backing. The backing is constructed of solid wood, and all parts are joined solidly. It has good weight, but not too heavy to maneuver while hanging it up.Hanging this map is the biggest challenge. There are two picture-frame like hanging hooks in the back, at very particular spots. Just make sure you level your two holes on the wall and get them exactly where they need to be. You have about 1/4" of wiggle room for each hole. Once hung, the map sits flat against the wall.The map looks great. The canvas is printed with clear details. You have to get pretty close to read smaller place names, but the map has a good number of them. There are a couple of places in the world where the politics of the map-maker biased their naming, but I'll let that go since it does not alter the point of the map.The map comes with a box of 200 colored pins. They are tiny, and make very small holes. But still, I don't want to poke this map!This is an attractive and well-made item for anyone who loves maps. It would also make a great gift. It now has a prominent place in my office. I recommend it.

This map is gorgeous! I love that it comes with foam on the back and some pins to start my collection of where I've been. I haven't put the pins in yet but I love how the map looks on my wall. Really, really well made.

Great world map! It looks fantastic on the wall! It came with pins so you can pin places you’ve been. I think that is so much fun. However, if you don’t want to put holes in it, you could just admire the map and not use the pins. if you are a traveler and you love to share your travels, being able to put pins in where you’ve been is kind of fun. I really like this map and I think it is great quality. It’s a good talk point for when you have Jess at your house as well

This map is very good for decorating your house. It looks nice and high quality. The world map has a solid build. It has a wooden frame supporting it. The map has all the cities you can imagine. On the back of the map, there are two metal mounts for hanging and a small bow of pins to pin places on the map.

I have several similar maps, but this canvas on frame map is printed so precisely that individual city names are legible, and spaced aprt to the point that a pin is not crowded out by another pin in the same country. This is the perfect gift for a world traveler who wants to chart their achievements or a way to inspire and plan aspirational travel. Wit plenty of pins, there's an opportunity to go beyond a visited country, and add in individual cities visited.
