Great filter. Fits the Dwarf II smart telescope.
This filter fits my Dwarf Labs Dwarf II filter holder perfectly. I has allowed me to successfully image nebula in moderately light polluted areas. Make sure that it screwed into the adaptor correctly and that the adaptor is seated correctly to avoid optical coma. Well worth the money for me!

A Suburban Backyard Workhorse for Emission Nebulae
Use Case: Backyard narrowband imaging under heavy city light pollution. I picked up the SV220 filter to see if I could actually get some decent nebula shots from my suburban yard without having to pack up the gear and drive an hour out to the dark desert every time I want to image. Honestly, it has been a fantastic addition to the rig. What I Like About It Living in a heavy light-pollution zone (Bortle 7) means background glow is always fighting against you. This 7nm filter does a seriously impressive job of knocking down that background muck so the targets actually stand out. Looking at the results I've pulled right from home, whether it's the intricate blue and red details on the Western Veil, the rich dust lanes of the North America Nebula, or the pillars in the Eagle Nebula, the contrast is night and day compared to shooting wide open. Stars stay nice and tight, and it saves a ton of cleanup time later on the computer. Things to Keep in Mind Because it's a tight 7nm dual-band filter, you are cutting out a lot of light. You've got to commit to longer sub-exposures to pull out the faint stuff, which means your mount and tracking need to be behaving themselves. If your tracking slips, you're going to see it. Pair it with a cooled camera so you don't fight a bunch of thermal noise, and you're good to go. Final Verdict If you want to image emission nebulae from home and don't want to drop a small fortune on high-end boutique filters, this thing is a total workhorse. Highly recommended if you want great results without overspending.
