Relax Victor - I dont want my money back :-)
Remington's have a long pedigree in electric shaving and appear to swap top dog spot with Braun and Philips regularly. I've used various models from all three and almost always return to Remington as they get the rudiments right. Other manufacturers seem to spend endless effort offering different materials, battery life et al. Basically, the F3800 will give as good an electric shave as it gets, a unit which is comfortable in the hand, the trimmer extension can reasonably handle all other grooming aspects (sideburns, nasal, ear, brows). Forty minutes on full charge and it can be cleaned under the tap.The unit is a great product for £30. Quality throughout, no frills, it just works and feels like it will last. Plenty of competition in this price point as you'd expect these are the no-frills shavers. But the trick is to do the job better than the others for this money, and I feel Remington have managed that. My father uses a Braun 3 Series costing considerably more than this and was astounded when I told him this only cost £30.One minor but important point - Remington spares are very easily sourced - just check here on Amazon alone. In other words you won't be chucking this away after a year if you've grown attached to it.Quality mid-range from Remington, great price from Amazon as usual. You can't go wrong.

Buy This Shaver Now!
Excellent product with. a smooth and close shave which 4 about £20 ( £30 anywhere else), u really can't go wrong! I opened the package, I immediately realised I couldn't charge it - I thought at first is was a mistake by the company who hadn't included it.Rang Customer Services and my first reaction was to that should have been made very clear in the advertising ( it wasn't mentioned at all). The advisor who was very helpful told me it widely available so I went to Wilkinson that afternoon and was happily surprised that their Uk shaver adapter plug was only £1.75 ( £2 in Morrisons). So still great buy!

Remington F3800 Dual Foil Shaver
Due to circunstances beyond my control I have had to revert back to a electric shaver. Many years ago I used a Remington, so logic dictated that I try the same make again. After going through the various types available from Amazon I decided to try the Remington F3800, whist not being the cheapest I thought it ideal to try and if requred a could always update to a better model?I have not been disappointed, not only it was what I expected but it is easy to hold and does come up to all the blurb that they say it will do. Charging is easy and does last a long time before needing a recharge. The only fault I find which does not alter the performance at all is that the light that tells you it needs recharging does not work. But it is easy to tell as the motor slows down and you cannot shave. even so I would give this 10 out of 10 and recommend it to anyone.

Good job.
I got this as the nearest equivalent to replace a 3 year old Remington. Prior to this I had wondered why, recently, my cheek was painful and slathered on the moisturiser. Then I saw the ragged hole in the foil. The new one seems very satisfactory although I have the impression that its charged battery life may not be quite as long as the old one. It gives me a quick comfortable shave and trim and for a very reasonable price, its transformer is dual voltage unlike the old one. Only slight snag is that the power cord is a rather tight fit into the shaver body socket. I've had a series of these and a previous one failed because the snap-out trimmer hinge broke - since then, I let it out gently against its spring and that hasn't happened again.

My third version of this - old school but good.
I've had one of these before they work just fine. And at the new lower and lower prices it's a bit of a no-brainer. I got this latest one for just over £16 so it's an absolute bargain. I am sure there are fantasic shavers out there that cost ten times as much, but this one just does the job with no frills. With the right technique you can get as close with one of these as you can with a wet razor in my opinion - just give yourself enough time to get the job done - and work out ways to pull your face against the foil as you would have done with a wet shave. It does take a long time to charge as it's old school battery power - so put it on in the morning and it will be charged the next time you need it the next day - then it lasts a couple of weeks. Get a shaver plug adaptor so you can charge it somewhere convenient and not hanging out of the bathroom mirror socket.A great way to get into electric shaving if you want to give it a try - £16 is so little you can give it to your dad if it doesn't work out. But you'll find it so much easier to do an evening shave with this compared to a wet razor and hot water, I think you'll keep it.

This shaver DOES NOT use AA batteries
This is the classic cordless Remington shaver that recharges with an electric cord. The description incorrectly mentions the need for two AA batteries, but this model cannot use batteries in any way.If you want a shaver that uses batteries, don't buy this. If, like me, you want the classic Remington rechargeable foil shaver, then place your order now.

Nice little shaver
This shaver replaces my old one, which is just an earlier model. I prefer the two blade version because I am a woman and I use it to shave hair underneath my chin. It is lighter weight and a little slimmer, so it may be better for travelling. However, there is one interesting issue: it leaves a bit of dark grease (or something) on my skin, so I need to wipe the smudge off my chin after every use. I tried to wipe the blades, but may need to wash them with soap, because I think it is just a little grease. Otherwise, the shaver is fine.

My dad is 89 and this is the only one he will use.
This product is awesome and is the only one my 89 year old dad wants. It is cheaper just to buy a new one instead of buying just the blades. Quick shipment ...
