It's EK, it's not cheap, in more than one sense.
This is my first real open loop pump in 15 years and a I researched a lot. I ended up being this after the newer one cAme out, have mixed feelings bout it, maybe I paid too much? It came with a second rubber isolate and everything else like tools and bolts, nice little sticker for drilling the mounting holes. Really, totally complete package with excellent performance, can empty the reservoir in a couple of seconds on high, the mount does a great job of isolating noise, even on high it's close to silent and is silent on low. I love the pump and love the resulting system, I'm just suffering from the credit card bill. There are a lot of components to water cooling and it can really add up when you go with the best parts. I hope it's one of those things you do initially, get the bill and have the regret but then a couple of years later your glad you did it. Every part from EK has been great, excellence isn't cheap but I'm not wealthy so those Barrow pars are looking good. Seriously though I had my last PC for 7 years and I'm expecting this one to last even longer and time will tell if it was a good investment. Even when the fans spin up under crazy load it still sounds nice while being cooler. Seems odd to refer to a computer as 'luxurious' or 'sophisticated'.

Another superior EKWB product!!
Pros: this is another superior product from EKWB. Beautifully made, well polished reservoir, and very bright lighting. Even at maximum flow, this pump is incredibly silent. It comes with all the tools and hardware required for installation, along with very clear and easy to understand instructions. It comes with not one, but TWO options for vibration dampening, with a second dampener included. It dissassembles very easily for cleaning/flushing. The pump can be installed in its accompanying mounting bracket with the in/out ports facing any direction you choose, making plumbing much easier.Cons: only two, and both are just nit-picking: 1)the RGB power cable could stand to be a bit longer; buy an RGBW extension if your pump isnโt really close to your motherboard. 2) I would personally like to see an independent drain port built into the pump, so I can drain the system without having to either add a tee and shutoff valve, or disassemble a pipe somewhere in the system. (If your pump isnโt at the lowest point in the system like mine is, that wouldnโt really help you anyway, and you will still need to tee off the system like I did)

Kind of weak, lots of cavitation
Have to run the pump full blast to keep the flow going. The head space is pretty good at full power, but this also introduces cavitation which is tiny bubbles forming from the blade pressure differential. These tiny bubbles will eventually form a big bubble in the pump reservoir that is not easy to pump out. You need a good degassing system in the loop and the least amount of head space possible. This pump does not pump gas at all. Like most will force gas through, albeit whining while doing it. This pump will not do it. It will spin freely and the gas will turn to foam and not really get forced through very well.It is however pretty quiet on full blast. I isolated it on cut tubes fashioned into springs and the vibration noise is almost imperceptible unless I lean down and listen for it.

Double Check
It's a nice pump. Just make sure you check everything is torqued down. The base was rattling around and need to be snugged up, and the reservoir was cross threaded causing a leak that shorted out the Green LED channel. Everything else works though. A water pump for my car is cheaper and doesn't leak from the factory. O'well, it's working now and didn't cause any damage.

Best pump
I feel this is one of the best pump combos one can buy, I just wish the treads where metal and not plastic.

Silent pump an great performance. RPM over the 4000
Silent pump an great performance. RPM over the 4000, and can barely hear this thing. The pump is great. RGB is a plus, although whe using red fluid, you cant see any other color that red, so if you want to see all the colors on your pump, you need to use clear fluid/destiled water only. Comes with sleeved cables that helps with looks and cable managment.

Expensive for what I got
Worked fine for about 6 months before I noticed water dripping down. Luckily nothing was underneath. The acrylic res was not fully sealed to the pump and had leaked out through the hole for passing the LED cable. Very thankful I did not have anything directly underneath nor did i connect the LEDs for the res.I took it apart for cleaning and the threads were not giving a full seal between the pump and res. Not good for a $200 piece. I plan to get a separate pump and res next time.

Be aware of rubber breakdown in housing
So having used this pump for less than a year, the pumps rubber housing for the spindel deteriorated and as of last night, it is dead. When I took the housing off to find what went wrong, I noticed that the rubber portion of the impeller was breaking down and it lost its shape. This caused the unit to not be able to maintain a smooth rotation and now it will wobble and slap against the housing itself. Never had this problem before but it's possible this will happen to others. So, buyer beware.

Excellent
Excellent quality. Nice color on RGB and low noise even on 100%. EKWB quality.

Excellent
Works exactly as it's supposed to and extremely quiet. One criticism is that the RGB cable is ridiculously short necessitating the purchase of an extension lead.
