Make sure to understand the brand and my recommend additional instructions
Don't buy this as your/ someone's 1st Puzzled brand 3d puzzle model. It WILL be very frastraighting. This brand is made up of cheap thin wood. Dont compar it to Ugear/robotime/rokr. Their quality is good but almost always something needs to be fixed. I ABSOLUTELY feel it's worth the price b/c of the size and fact it's really really easy to paint w/ acrylic paint. My recommendation:Have an exacto knife, easy squeeze glue, and sandpaper ready.1 Cut out peices where they are a little attached to the sheet unless they pop out easy with a light push. If you force it, it is HIGHLY likely to break. Just cut it a little.2. Sand down edges (just my preference for when I later paint it).3. Test if it fits together w/o peices that need glue. If a peice doesn't go in, 1st make sure it goes there, then cut a little so it can fit in the slot. I usually wiggle the xacto knife a little and it'll fit the peice snug.RECOMMENDED (additional) INSTRUCTIONS:For this puzzle, get all the big peices out 1st, work on getting them all connected. Take out other pieces as needed for that. This will make the base. Match numbers to each other. The B #s are part of base, where the ramp thing on 1 side is. Continue to fill in little peices. Double check everything's filled on base level.I suggest taking apart at this point and painting/ gluing. Want the base solid before moving on to towers.I'd start with the middle tower and work out to the othersLike with the base, test build each tower 1 by 1. If you got everything, teardown, paint and glue together. Finish next tower.I dont think numbering is necessary. If you want, pop out the peices that have a lot of multiple (check F,D,E #s) and put them in a labeled baggie for later use. This will make it easier to recognize unique peices on the sheets.

Good puzzle, but poorly constructed parts
The puzzle was pretty cool, but I had issues with the individual pieces. Not all of the pieces were completely cut out, which caused them to break the piece when you were trying to pop them out. Not all of the pieces went where the directions said they went, and even when you found where those pieces were suppose to go per the instructions. Once you figured out where the piece was suppose to go, you still had to cut or sand the pieces to make the pieces go together as some of the wholes for the pieces were 1/8 to 1/2 inches off from each other.Overall, if you are looking for a 3D puzzle, this really isn't what you are looking for. This is more of a pre-fabricated St. Petersburg Church construction kit. After I finished the puzzle, I burned it. Even after doing all of the work, it still looked pretty bad with pieces that were made to fit together.

Good but some of the pieces when you get to the towers not cut and drilled in the right positions - had to remake some pieces
I am still working on this one. The pieces aren't cut all the way thru so you have to cut some out with small knife. Also on the towers the circle that hold them the holes are not in the right positions. Had to make my own and drill holes in proper places. The triangle pieces have the slits off center so still have to remake those. Most of it went together pretty good but those are the pieces that could not be used the way they were.

Number the pieces
This is the third one of these I have ordered and have really enjoyed every minute of the building process. If this item is the first one you are going to build let me give you some very good advice. Before you start punching out the pieces write the number on the piece. Also number every tab and every slot. It will make finding the pieces easier to find. Also if you plan on making more than one I would suggest buying some mini files. They work a lot better than sandpaper. Take your time and enjoy the process, after all it is just a hobby and worth doing well the first time.

Inaccurate description! This is a model kit, NOT a puzzle.
This product should NOT be listed as a "puzzle". It is a model kit. It is not fun, nor educational, and does not fit together like a puzzle. A tedious inventory process and glue is required to even begin. The first step in the "instructions" (a list of 5 steps included on the back of the box) asks you to label each individual piece according to the small diagrams (also on the back of the box). That's SEVEN HUNDRED and FIVE small wooden pieces that you are supposed to label with a pencil before beginning to assemble this "puzzle". The pieces do not lock together, and you must have glue in order to begin. Weirdly, it lists on the box that glue is not included, but there is a small tube of glue in the box (?).Returning this immediately. False advertising.

Great fun, easy to put together, simple directions!
What great fun this was! Super easy directions. You match up numbers and numbered letters, then you can build this Cathedral. I started out with two other advanced kits (Apache helicopter and Airplane carrier) before starting this one and I'm glad I did. Although fairly easy and straightforward, the earlier kits let me get out the kinks in my work. Also BUY some wood glue (white elmers or similar to when you were kid!). Tons of fun. Will buy more advanced models.

For experience puzzle goers
You need to have done alot of 3d wood puzzles to even begin to handle this. It has no instruction only the number guide and 705 pieces. It took me a month of sanding, fitting, painting, and glueing a little everyday between everyday life. Looks awesome and it is big. Now I have nowhere to display because it's so big but it is the best 3d puzzle i have done. If you love the wood puzzlesand have the time give this a shoot. Worth the $$$$

Cool puzzle!
Fun to build. So many little pieces that make you work hard to find the correct fit. Very good puzzle. Some decorative pieces broke when removing from the board. Could be stamped better to reduce risk of breaking.
