Excellent, but throw away the avocado pit!!!!
*see note below* This toy has gotten more use than I ever could have imagined. It has been great for fine motor and bilateral coordination skills, which is what I got it for. However, it's been a mainstay for pretend food play or recreating the very hungry caterpillar. My child also learned the names of all of the fruits so it was a great vocab builder. We also sorted the fruits into colors. We also have a puppet that likes to "eat" these fruits as well. This is probably my best time spent playing vs money spent toy and my child can and will play independently with it. *******HOWEVER, I removed the avocado pit when we bought it and do not let him play with it. The avocado pit is the perfect size to choke on. Remove it and everything else is a great, safe size.*******

Fine motor fun
Adorable, sturdy, and fun. It stands up to toddler abuse. There is one fruit that’s a bit small if you’re kid puts things in their mouth but easy to put that one up if needed.

A go to toy
This is my grand toddler's go to toy everyday. He loves naming the fruits. Stringing on the caterpillars is challenging and he finally figured it out, but prefers to put them on his fingers or sticks outside. He loves to "wash" the fruit in his watertable almost daily. The colors have not faded. I am amazed. I have an old wooden bowl that he keeps them in. They make a great sound when dropping them into the bowl. Great sensory play. Well worth the money.

Super cute. Well made, wooden manipulative to help illustrate the book. Great for working on story sequencing.

Nice wooden toy
These are nice wooden pieces, colorfully painted and easy to handle. Once the box has been opened it isn't easily stored as there's a big opening in the box, so you may need to get a little bag. Cute toy for our 15-month old granddaughter.

purchased for my toddler to work on fine motor skills, while reading his hungry caterpillar book the quality is great, the pieces are sizeable and not scary as a choking risk ( obviously still watch your child) and the bright colours had him engaged. I also like that unlike other brand the caterpillar is super easy to grasp and hold being that its a bit longer and of harder material then the rope itself.
