The box is well made and very smooth to touch. Great for a child’s Christmas Eve box or as we used it a memory box for our two doggies.

The wood has a rough finish and the hinges are weak, but otherwise a nice storage box.

Lovely solid storage box

I wanted to make my own milk box for milkman deliveries. As you can see it worked out perfectly. It’s well made with raw wood finish so you can paint snd prep it easily. Good size and sturdy

Where do I start , flimsy carcase barely 5mm thick made of strips edge glued together of some wood NOT wood I recognise with a very distinct odour ( not pleasant ), very open soft grain little strength you can bend the whole front and sides . The base is ply wood and judging by how easy to deform not very thick as this is not actually the base but is about 5mm up, the box resting on the bottom of the sides any thing of any weight stored is going to break this . the lid is secured by the thinnest pair of hinges I have seen . inserted in slots down in to the thin wood first time anyone over opens the lid ( no stay or strap) or pushes down on the lid either the hinges will break or the wood will split . I think that is enough I am returning the 2 I bought , do not bother with these unless you want light flimsy storage you will find better . I would not even pay £5.00 for these as they would be to much trouble .

A lovely, very well made box. Lightweight but very sturdy. The wood smells lovely too. I will be using it as it is, but it is ideal to personalise or decorate.
