I purchased this ottoman for a little extra storage. I wanted something functional but yet stylish. This definitely fit the bill! I love that it is neutral, so it matches & goes well with my existing decor, without being a bold design that clashes. The metal brads dress it up & take the style up a level from your plain upholstered material. It holds quite a bit on the inside to be this small & is light enough that it can moved without being a big deal. Perfect little piece to hold odds & ends for my small corner space outside the bedroom, but could work really well in about any kind of room in the house, making it versatile. The only thing I wish this particular ottoman had for my needs is an attached lid that raises. The top does come completely off, and the underside has a built in tray. So I’m sure that would be handy if you used it in a living room or even a bedroom. Overall… love this piece & recommend it! Great quality & well built. One downside was the price. It costed just as much as one of the full size upholstered storage benches, which I think is nuts. That’s a bit pricey in my opinion. But I couldn’t be happier with the size & overall look for the tiny space I needed it for. It’s a beautiful piece!

I was surprised at how well made this is. I had tried a different storage ottoman from another company that was just raw wood inside.The top is padded, so comfortable to sit on. The top fits snugly as a tray so it isn’t wobbly. The height is perfect for our couch.We got the navy and like how it looks so well that we will be getting 1 or possibly 2 more.

Well built, had one like it, this was the replacement, didn't disappoint.

Very nice, attractive storage option. Practical and versatile, it holds blankets, games, puzzles, crafting supplies and/or seasonal pillows. It does not have wheels/casters and is challenging to move.

Beautiful simplicity of design and the gray color was an exact match. Works perfectly well as a sturdy footrest/ottoman and it very handy as some much-needed extra storage. My only criticism is the rope border (or whatever it's called) around the top is too thin, letting the tray easily sink down into the base (see photo). One pleasant surprise: my cats like to use it as a scratching post but it does almost no visible damage! That is some sturdy material!

This is a great ottoman. I can store a few blankets inside.

I don't understand why this item is flagged as "frequently returned" as it is everything advertised in terms of color and solid feel. It arrived with legs attached. And there is no hinge which other reviews mention which makes it great if you want to use it as a tray table. The height matches my sofa so if I were to use it as a footrest it would be more of a chaise effect. The color is consistent with the images online. Best of all is the nailhead trim and tufted top which keeps it from being boring. My only quibble is the feet have cleat-like grippers on the floor protectors which snag on my carpet and rug but since I'm using this mainly as occasional seating I haven't bothered trying to file the rough spots. Since this is a big cube and heavy-ish, sliding it smoothly makes more sense than trying to carry it.
