We purchased this scanner as part of our project for turning an old laptop into a Grocy machine. Although we don't have everything working yet, the scanner is functioning perfectly. It wirelessly transmitted information up to my main machine, where I was testing, and accurately scanned all the barcodes we used for testing. Not only is it easy to use, but it is also very quick, allowing you to go from product to product with ease and speed. We also found that it can handle a few drops easily, as it was dropped multiple times during our testing, which inadvertently tested its durability. Additionally, after a few days of playful use, we still haven't had to charge the battery, which has impressed my husband and me. Overall, it works better than any scanner I have tried to date (including ones I have used previously for my business) and we are both extremely impressed with this inexpensive barcode scanner!

I use this at work to catalog computer equipment and at home to catalog movies. It’s very customizable and can work with its wireless dongle or Bluetooth. The manual includes a set of QR codes to configure a lot of the features of the scanner, but you can also use the app on a mobile device (in my case an iPhone) to configure it. The dongle worked well on all major platforms I used it on (Linux, MacOS and Windows) and surprisingly enough it worked via a usb hub on my iPad Pro (I normally use Bluetooth on my iPad and iPhone when cataloging movies). I’ve used it with QR codes and standard bar codes and it has been very accurate. I do have to sometimes block out other bar codes if there are a bunch in a small space (ie: scanning a serial number off of a hard drive as many hard drives that have bar codes on them have a bunch for different information). So far very pleased and the battery lasts quite a while. I do wish it had a USB-C port instead of the older USB-B port (for those that don’t know USB-B port is a squarish port with rounded corners on one side - it’s an older cable that most people used with printers or USB scanners). Other than wishing it had a USB-C port (a minor issue not worth deducting a star for) I’m very happy with it.

Pretty good scanner. Not bad for price and also works with phone. The app is very straight forward

My son ordered it and said it works great, connects quickly and does what it is supposed to do.
