Needs adjustments to be really private
EDIT: After 24h i went back into the settings and the camera reset the setting to not use manufacturer DDNS and is calling home to china again. it is registering a DDNS with the manufacturer under nwsvr1.com.This means your network and your camera IP information are in a public accessible DNS database. Any company, hacker or teenager could use this for any type of nonsense, especially when you enable UPNP or check your camera over the internet! The manufacturer claims "NO RISK of PERSONAL INFORMATION: You have the direct connection with the wifi camera, the ip camera’s video wont be saved on any servers or forwarded by manufacturer."What the manufacturer doesn't say, is, that this camera:1) Talks back to the manufacturers domain and registers a dynamic DNS with this chinese company. That brings unwanted exposure to my home system and the camera, as now anyone who feels like it has can find out who is operating this camera. I had to find the settings by accessing the camera with a browser and deactivating this default setting.2) The camera refuses to run without internet access. As soon as you remove the internet router IP (Gateway IP) from it's settings, it complains and will not let you do that. I had to fill this setting with a false IP so it cannot access the internet. Also the APP sucks. The picture quality is good. All in all, this is a great $23 indoor camera, after disabling it's "phone home" abilities.

Where does the SD CARD go?
Easy set up. Easy operation. It says it takes an SD CARD, but where is the slot?

It’s works and pretty affordable to check on your house.
Set up was quick. Don’t forget you can record the video it sees. It just need to use the sd card. It lets you do drop in’s and check your house, and talk to people or your pets. Though my dogs seemed to get upset thinking I was hiding from them. Every time I checked it was online. It also spans left to right up and down right from your phone app. It has a heck of a radius!! I haven’t used it much because I’ve been to busy, but when I have it’s been good. Not bad to have if you want to make sure the babysitter or caregivers are treating your loved ones well. I recommend it!

SO FAR SO GOOD.......Ummm ok, maybe not
Ok so another update: no one got back with me from customer service. However, after deleting the app from my phone & reloading, the Advanced tab miraculously appeared. The cameras do what they say, it records continuously and without problems. Soooo.....I will be keeping them. I just received this today, however the set up was a BREEZE, no problems at all! Obviously purchased to keep an eye on things while I'm away. I don't impress easily and this is my 1st camera purchase but overall I really like this little camera, it's extremely affordable, important for a single mom on a budget, the picture quality, in my opinion, is really good, played around with the audio and it ain't too bad either! I'm anxious to see how things progress and how well it works when I'm actually away from the house. If all goes well I intend on purchasing at least two more of these guys. Well worth the money, I'm actually surprised it's not a little bit more.Well I believe I was too hasty in my first review. Though I do like this camera, am pleased with the video/audio/nightvision, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to record without keeping the app open on my phone. Everytime I go to a different app, the record feature on my phone quits. I tried downloading the PC software, this didn't work either. I cannot find the advanced settings anywhere on the app. It would be extremely helpful if there were some type of manual with it.....TRUST ME the downloadable user's guide is a joke. I will be returning this product unless some one can solve my issues.

Don't waste your time or money
I bought 2 cameras. Neither one would connect to my 802.11b/g/n 2.4 GHz network. They use a "sonic" tone to connect to the network. Very unusual. I tried multiple locations and even set it next to the router with out success. I tried contacting their support through the supplied email but, no response. I even tried calling their support line but, it is not in service. I'm sending mine back due to lack of operation and poor customer service. Don't waste your time or money on these inoperable cameras.

Works great and helped me stay in touch with my wife in the Philippines..
For 9 months I talked online with my soon to be wife (at the time) every day on skype. And when we were not on skype, i could just look at the live broadcast of the video feed from this camera that I bought for her. And she could look at mine. We both have one of these and we both feel so comfortable being able to see each other every day. You can listen and then click a button to talk. And when she would come across my camera and say "I love you" it would just melt my heart. It helped us stay close to each other before we even met in person. She was in the Philippines and I was in America. We met online of course. And these cams helped us develop a tighter relationship with each other because it was like we were right there with each other. Thank you for selling this great item for a great price..

NOT HTML 5 / Chrome Compatible.
Minimal if any VMS support, Onvif finds camera, but will not recognize stream, browser requires ActiveX client app to work. No settings for stream type, jpeg/h.264/h.265 in settings.Android Mobile client found and configured the WiFi with no issues, but required location permissions. I suggest you disable location services on the phone, then grant the app permission, then configure the camera, then disable location location permissions and reactivate on your phone.Syntax for RTSP feed is rtsp(standard syntax) /live/ch0Straight RTSP stream does work.Camera has no Ethernet port, 4 IR lights built in.Doesn't work with my eX vms so its going back.

To many problems
Tried everything. I use an iPhone and it doesn’t work. The app for iPhone sucks. The one for Android sucks to. So many problems. Contacted wansview but they want me to give them my personal number so they can call me. No thanks. It keeps saying connecting and it just hangs there. Uninstalling and reinstalling app does nothing. Been on YouTube but found no help. Not easy to use or install and make it work.
