Iron Man 2 (PS3)

Great little game. Product perfect. Also it pays to be a console behind £££££

I've been playing video games for a good 15 years or so, and this has to rank as one of the worst I've ever played. Yes, it genuinely is that bad. Why do I say this? Let me list just some of the reasons. 1) The graphics are no better than those of a PS2 game at best - the characters, environments etc. are all just so dull and drab; there is nothing at all here to make you go 'wow', or that will make you appreciate investing in an HD TV. 2) It is incredibly, unbelievably short. You have barely started before 2-3 hours later it is all over - I don't recall the last time I played a full-priced game that was over this quickly. Moreover, there is only very minimal replay value - yes, you can play in different suits, but it makes no appreciable difference to the gameplay. 3) None of the 8 missions (that's all!) display any signs of creativity or imagination on the part of the game's developers - fly around a bit, shoot a few things, maybe protect something along the way, is all that you are asked to do. For a game this short nonetheless also to be very repetitive is, I suppose, an achievement of sorts on the part of the developers. 4) The game mechanics are just about ok, but there is nothing very satisfying or exciting about the various weapons, the flying around and so on. The weapons are upgradeable, and new ones become available as you progress, but quite honestly, there rarely feels much point in doing so, and it doesn't add much to the experience when you do. 5) I could also talk about the meagre plot, the laughable dialogue and so on, but my brain is going numb just thinking about this game.If the whole package wasn't so laughably inept, I'd almost be angry at how little time must have gone into making this game, and how cynical its makers must be to put out such garbage, simply because they know it will sell off the back of its Iron Man licence. The only redeeming feature is that, thanks to it being pathetically short and unchallenging, if trophies are your thing, it's a very easy Platinum.

Have play iron man and think that the game play is awesome the graphics are good and I would recommend this to anyone who loves iron man or war machine.

A fantastic game that lets you do more than in the previous game. With the choice to play as the two characters you can kickass better than ever before. You defiantly get your moneys worth.

I was literally over the moon when I realized that they had released an Iron Man 2 game, and even more overjoyed when I found out that the game did not follow the films plot, but almost immediately I was thoroughly disappointed, yes the novelty of being able to create and customize your suit, weapons etc is a good idea, and is very satisfying when you unlock a new suit, but and its a big BUT there is so much wrong with this game its quite unbelievable, I mean I don't think Sega even bothered, personally I feel the first game was better, and even that wasn't particularly brilliant. Firstly the graphics, the graphics on this game on a PS3 are god damn awful, you very often get pixelated area's something that we should not see anymore, full stop, maybe it has something to do with he fact that this game is for all platforms, like the less powerful Wii, but that is still no excuse, the cut scenes are pretty pants in all honesty and the levels aren't very long in my opinion either, and the AI is also rather dreadful at times, as is the targeting system which really does suck! Also the game is actually incredible short, just 8 levels from start to finish, just a terrible game and as an HUGE Iron Man fan, having read the comics and watched the tv series when I was younger, and furthermore being so impressed by the guys who have made the last 2 amazing films, Iron Man 2 The Game is one massive flop, if you want to play the game I'd recommend you rent it. As for me I wish that Sega, for the 3rd game (which there is bound to be one to tie in with the 3rd film) to be a big ol sandbox style game, with crisp and sharp graphics, better AI, and a much better targeting system, something that would do justice to the Iron Man franchise, anyway I help my review helped you guys in deciding whether or not to buy the game, and if you do decide to buy it, I hope you enjoy it more than I did, peace out.

This game was an ok game,the graphics are quite good which makes the game good!The gameplay is boring and repetitive, which makes the game boring.Also, the story is also boring, should have been like the movie!Overall, i give it 5/10, this game could be better!!
