My Dyson has been useless for such a long time due to a broken filter. Nothing I tried held a repair. I thought perhaps I could replace it. Took me time to find this but it works and fits perfect and now I have my Dyson back.

Previously, I bought similar items, but this is the perfect one. Highly recommended.

Received today and immediately attempted to attach to dryer by clicking together each side to lock the cover. Took me about 30 min and finally with the help of a small flathead screwdriver was able to engage both sides to lock. If Dyson had had this part in stock I would have ordered from them paying a few extra dollars but expect it would have been a more durable part and an easier assembly process.

Doesn’t stay on

Honestly, I didn’t know i could replace the filter on my Dyson Supersonic hairdryer. I have cleaned it periodically; but didn’t realize it could be replaced. So this ‘upgraded’ filter was something I wanted to get to make sure my Dyson is kept in good working order. These hairdryers are too expensive not to take care of them.I love that I was able to get it in the same color (hot pink) because that color isn’t available anymore on the Dyson website.It was easy to take the old filter off and put the new one on. The brush ‘thingy’ really helps clean the filter. So glad I found this, and at a good price too!

My original filter was cracked and constantly falling down. I didn’t even know I could replace the filter. I love the new color, as it perfectly matches the inner pink of the hair dryer. The cleaning brushes are great! The new filter itself was a bit hard to get on. Lining up the grooves to make it click together took a few frustrating minutes but it was worth the frustration!

My Dyson filter is not broken but when I saw that this replacement is the same colour as the trim on my hairdryer I just had to get it.Firstly, I didn't know that you couldn't get the original filter off in the same way as this one goes on. I didn't want to damage something that's perfectly fine so I just left the original dangling on the lead while I tried out the replacement. It is exceedingly fiddly to join the sides, with the different notches, and in the process the rim of the filter tore in 2 places, it's paper-thin though the filter itself is somewhat sturdier. It did click into place on the dryer despite the tears, I just had to bend them a little.If you have broken the original filter then this is a good a replacement as any, I guess, and nice that you can get the exact colour as the other parts. I think the price is quite steep for what it is but if you have broken the original then £19 is a small price to pay to continue using a £300 dryer.
