These things really work. I bought my first bottle at my local health food store. They no longer carry them so I bought these off Amazon. I like them because they don't have too many fillers and they come in a smaller dose so I can cut back or increase my dosage as needed. The hope is that I won't have to take them forever. So being able to cut down is important. They arrived when expected and in good condition.

I know I am not qualified to give out medical advice, so, this is a review of my personal experience. Not at all to provide suggestive treatment. But, this is my story.I was getting to the point where I was taking tums and other antacids several times a day. I was up at night and had to stack up pillows to elevate my upper body just so I could sleep. I talked to a certified herbologist (which I do recommend) and she evaluated all of my symptoms. I started taking a probiotic once a day and this Betaine HCL 350 MG tablet at meal time (when ever I was having protein with my meal). Within seven days I was no longer having problems with acid and stopped taking antacids all together (haven't needed one in over a year now). At some point (maybe a month) I was able to stop taking the Betaine with every protein meal and was taking it once a day. Now I take probiotics only for about 10 days in a row when I have digestive discomfort and rarely need the Betaine at all. I only take the Betaine when I experience acid symptoms and usually one a day will clear it within two or three days.Have a review with a professional doctor or a certified natural medicine practitioner before you take anything or stop taking anything (including prescription as well as over the counter items). I don't think my condition and my results are rare...but, each person has their own set of circumstances so should have a complete evaluation. Bring a list of everything including diet, sleep patterns, vitamins, medications, even teas you drink... the more information you have written down the best evaluation you can get and receive the best advice. If Betaine 350mg is suggested for you then this is a great product to buy.

I have Hashimoto's and have difficulty digesting protein dense foods. I've tried many brands, even the expensive ones and this one does the job at a great price!

No result so far may be for others is doing a good job.

This supplement works great for people who don't digest high protein foods very well, like meat and eggs.Only take it when there's protein eaten. Otherwise you might have too much acid.
