Ditch the car and get on an EVO e-bike! It's fun to ride, cheap to run, environmentally friendly, offers exercise at a level you can control and is practical for all those short trips. With its quick-lock folding mechanism, lightweight aluminium frame and forks, the E-Dragon can easily go with you in the car or caravan. Like its namesake, the E-Dragon is a powerful beast and, although not equipped with wings, this Dragon flies along. The contrasting fire-red/black frame reflects the fire breathing creature from which our Dragon draws inspiration. Unlike the mythical giant monsters of legend, the E-Dragon is compact, nimble and stealthily hides its power source within the cavity of its sleek frame. The EvoMotion E-Dragon folding electric bike is a beautifully designed and stunning model. With a multi-function LCD display, this e-bike is packed with high technology features. Not to be confused with the morass of lower quality products of dubious provenance the EVO range of electric bikes is manufactured by the World's leading electric vehicle manufacturer in compliance with EN15194, the EU directive covering electric bikes. Fitted as standard with a powerful 36V 8Ah MnNiCo ternary lithium battery weighing just 2.2kg, the E-Dragon can travel up to 60Km (depending on load, terrain, conditions) between charges in pedal-assist mode. At only 17.8kg plus the battery, the E-Dragon is lightweight, easy to lift for ease of transport and storage. As the battery is hidden discretely within the frame of the bike, it allows use of the rear rack for carrying bags. A powerful 250W 36V hub motor, coupled with 3 power-assist speed settings, provides plenty of power to the wheels. Hub motor technology has the advantage of reduced noise and the direct drive means that there is no loss of energy via a chain. Unlike many other models on the market, the E-Dragon has a twist throttle control on the handlebar which can operate independently of the pedals.

for young and old this is the way to ride!
I received this bicycle much faster than expected, it was fully assembled and adjusted, the battery eas even charged although I did charge it for a couple of hours just to make sure.I was very excited to get on and test it as soon as I could, I was blown away with how it worked intelligently and helped me to zoom up the slopes with ease.I have not ridden a bike seriously since 1967 when I was knocked off by a van coming out of a side road, "I didn't see you" said the driver, he gave me ten bob to get my trousers cleaned, and it eas not until I got home that i found out the bike was a write off and I had concusion with more than ten bobs worth of damage to me and my bike.So for someone of 72 to even consider going on the road with two wheels and not four is a big decision, so the Dragon wa the answer to my prayers, with all the safety features and bright lights and clothing available these days the locals will see a lot more ofme on my evoMotion E-Dragon evo folding bike. The folding mecanism is simple and ends up with a compact item to put in the back of my Citroen C5 estate car for trips to town without parking charges and able to cycle close the shops and services I require to visit. From what i've seen on you tube this bike can be enjoyed by a young enthusiate as well as an old bloke like me.Oh, I did need to put air in the tires which run at 45/50psi I used the small electric compressor that plugs into the car socket, I can charge the battery using my solar/wind turbine system or by using a small mains 240volt inverter connected to the same socket in the car, making it very cheap and eco friendly.Save up and buy one soon we all ought to have a E-Dragon in our stable.

Great Electric bike
I bought this bike just over a week ago now ( 6/3/2017) It is still available from the sellers despite it saying " not available" but you need to contact them first. It came fully assembled and folded in the box. The battery was fully charged on arrival even. ( no manual was included with the bike though) there was only a few little tightening up jobs to do that only took a few minutes to complete.I bought this bike more out necessity than anything else, Although Im only in my mid 50s I suffered a stroke last year and some aspects of my job require me to walk around a large site, Ive not been able to do this for several months, but this E Bike solves the problem for me. The throttle is independent of the handle bar grip which makes it a good safety feature. Although its not very fast its enough to get the bike going to gain speed and balance...its about 4.25mph. Once you use the pedal assist it is the same as every E bike in the UK and set to just over 15mph ( EU/UK law). Peddling an ordinary bike is not really an option for me due to my weaker right side, but this E bike is a breeze for me to ride due to the motor. There are 3 pedal assist modes, Low, Mid, High and Throttle only ( please note that very very few E bikes are now avaiable in the UK with a throttle only control). The bike seems very sturdy and robust and very well made, although it is heavier than conventual folding bikes of this size ( 20inch wheel) it is lighter than most other E bikes of this ilk, especially when the battery is removed. It is a bit cumbersome for me to fold and to remove the battery but others will probably do it with ease. It is also a great looking bike, or as my Grandson so eloquently put it. . " Its well cool" ..It did not come with a back light and the front light is not very good so I bought one of each at our local B&M store. I did also buy a spare battery, however despite using the Ebike quite a lot over the last week the included battery is practically still at full charge so I wont be swapping it over as much as I thought I would...Im only light and slim at 5'4" so that may have a baring on it. Altogether Im quite pleased with the bike so far and hope to get more than a few years of use out it.
