I like this little water heater. It works well but to get really hot water, you have to adjust the temperature higher. We bumped it up a little at a time until it was perfect. I’m very happy with my purchase and I do recommend this water heater

Does have a sacrificial anode
I replaced another brand under-sink water heater that had a five-year warranty but had tiny small print indicating that you need to check its sacrificial anode annually, and replace at least every two years. Based on what I read of the predecessor to this unit, the ES250, I had thought that the ES250B did not have a sacrificial anode. I was wrong. The new version, the ES250B, does have a sacrificial anode and the installation manual suggests checking it every six months to a year, as well as draining the unit and cleaning deposits from the heating element. (The frequency depends on the hardness of your water.) I had hoped for a less maintenance heater than the other brand I had so am disappointed that this unit does require frequent inspection. Nevertheless, I'm a handyman who can pull the unit out for maintenance. If I were have to pay a plumber to do so, the routine maintenance would be quite costly.I do love having instant hot water under our kitchen sink. When our old unit leaked, we got used to washing our hands in cold water rather than waiting for hot water from the main water heater in the basement.

Mini Water Heater Tank
This is a small little tank that holds 4 gallons. Its great for really small spaces like RV and mobile homes. It has a decent amount of heating power. Simple and easy installation just connecting the water hoses and plugging it into any 120v outlet.

Almost great
I had to place a shallow pan under it because of a very slow water leak from inside the unit.

Ease of installation
In my remodeling business I often look for easy to install, practical items when I do kitchen and bathroom remodels. I highly recommend this water heater...it is lightweight, easy to use runs off of a traditional 15 amp circuit and hooks up in virtually minutes if you have the plumbing right there. I found it very practical for the kitchen I was remodeling and found it to be very economical! The delivery was fast! ( thank you Amazon hehe) and I got the customers up and running in just one day! The installation instructions for very thorough and easy to follow for even a DIY-er! I highly recommend this product👍🏽

No as wide (in depth the ES150
This POU water heaterf seems to be the perfect size under our bathroom sink. This unit, unlike the ESB150 model that I originally installed did not have an internal leak and seems to be fine after 24 hours.Good heater for the money.

Hot water at my garage sink
This is a near perfect DIY solution for my garage sink. As it requires only a 110V plug I did not have to run additional electrical lines to operate this, something most if not all larger water heater and on demand unit require, most are 220V.I found installation very straight forward, I have it mounted under a laundry tub in my garage. While it won't fill that tub with hot water it is more than enough to wash your hands and fill half the sink with hot water to wash things.

Robust water heater boosts temperature inline after DIY mounting under kitchen sinks
As I was looking to increase temperature in the kitchen sink, this mini tank heater was a simpler to DIY solution. Heats up in minutes and does maintains stable enough water temperature for running the faucet long enough to fill pots or clean up. Capacity can feel somewhat limiting as temperature slowly decreases while simultaneously being filled and heated. This tank became a secondary unit sitting inline between and relies mostly on the 1.3 gallon filled tank to outflow hot water. The integrated heating coil element powers off a standard 3 prong grounded plug being entirely electric creates easier approach to fitting hoses and getting hot water flowing. Despite that, I did find installation to be somewhat complicated, require bit of drilling since there's floor mounted brackets alongside having a dedicated drain outlet being required for outflow valve. Brass threaded parts for pressure valve is robustly machined and the heater is also electrically certified for safety knowing a high wattage coil is driving the heated water tank inside.
