8 In 1 Pet Products Ferretone Skin & Coat Supplement, 8-Ounce

As this review asks me to describe the flavour i decided to let mr dakota ferret write the review..... This product is lickey and it relaxes me. The flavour is sort of meaty maulty, and is very pleasant. I like it best applied to my humans left hand so i can lick it while he strokes me with his right hand.

This is a fantastic product. My ferret was going bald (due to me feeding it too many raw eggs) I got this and she loved it. Within days her fur was growing back and she was in the best condition of her life. Gave her a bit daily and she relishes it. When it comes to nails being clipped I put some in a little tub, she licked we cut nails no problem. Can't recommend it enough.

Used sparingly over the years to help with meds or.ail cutting. Ferrets love it. I have since switched to oils purchased from local rescues though which is better overall for ferrets health and the money goes to a better cause. Especially considering how much ferretone costs.I definitely have mixed feeling about the product based on the stories I have been told about how bad this is and my own use. This is however ferret crack if you have a difficult ferret.

This amazing product is a Godsend for people with ferrets - for when you are clipping their nails. They like it so much that they forget you are actually cutting their nails. They love it! Great for maintaining a healthy glossy coat and gives essential fatty acids which are good for your ferret. Minty (our ferret) loves this. You can either add a couple of teaspoons into your ferrets' food or pour some onto the open cap a few times for him to lap it up.

MY FERRETS GO BONKERS FOR THIS!!! TWO YOUNG JILLS THAT IM TRAINING WILL DO ANYTHING FOR THIS STUFF!! A DOWN SIDE IT IS A LIQUID I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED MORE OF A PASTE BUT IT'S GOOD ALL THE SAME!!

I like to call this stuff "ferret crack". It is the ultimate bribery tool! You can pretty much do anything to them if they're distracted by Ferretone. It makes otherwise seemingly impossible tasks like claw-trimming a completely easy and painless task. Great stuff. It also smells surprisingly nice - a bit sickly sweet, but much nicer than I would have expected!

The media could not be loaded.  Highly recommended by ferret owners for skin and coat. My boys love the taste and take it from the spoon so I know all four are getting equal amounts. It would be more beneficial it it was sold in the 16 FL.OZ instead of the 8 as I have four ferrets.

It came on time.But as I've discovered this is way too sugary for ferrets, it's not good for them at all so I switched to getting cod liver oil instead.Thr high sugars actually can increase the chances of them catching illnesses and one being cancer. So I would highly recommend people to not use this on a daily/weekly basis, maybe every so often but very small amounts.I did give my ferrets this as I sent aware it was so bad for them but they did go crazy for it, now I know why. It's just a word of warning to others. If you want to use it or have used it for years with no problems then it's up to you, I just don't want to take any risks like that.But overall the delivery was amazing, perfectly packaged.

My ferret LOVES this stuff. It smells decent too, not like I expected it to smell considering it is mostly made of oils. It is oily because of that but he cannot get enough. I give it to him by sticking my finger in the container and just letting him lick it off. Occasionally I use it if he doesn't like something he needs to ingest and it works really well. For example, he hates his hairball meds but if I just add this to the meds, he thinks it is a treat and takes it as fast as he can. I love that not only is this delicious to him, it is good for him so I feel great about giving it to him and he loves life. I saw before I purchased this that some people were using it to make the ferret stink less. I don't think my ferret stinks so I can't say it has changed how he smells at all but in my opinion he smells great. A little like syrup with a musk. I also saw some where trying this to make the poop smell less. Again I cant comment on that because his poop smells the same. No ones poop smells good so I didn't expect any product to do that. I don't see a change in his skin or coat but his skin and coat already looked good when we began this product and we have only been using it maybe a month. However, having said that, I want to reiterate that even if this never makes his poop smell good, him smell even better or improves his skin and coat, I will still love it because it makes his life better and helps me give him meds he needs.
