Shea Moisture Manuka Honey & Yogurt Hydrate + Repair Split End Balm, 2.5 Oz

I have very thin/fine straight hair with loads of split ends. Initially, I put way too much product in my hair while it was damp and it was a greasy, waxy mess! The second time I used much less while my hair was dry, focusing on the areas that are more split looking and frizzy. Immediately, my hair looked smoother, less stringy, and smelled amazing all day. Today was the third time using, I swear my hair feels so much thicker and looks healthier! Definitely loving this product and hoping that my hair continues to look as good if not better!

I dont like that I paid 12 for 2 ounces of hair product but they smoothen my damaged ends like no other product has. Worth the investment if you're willing.

I use this product for in my daughter hair!! Its amazing!! The ends of her hair gets very dry and ive tried so many different products but this is the best yet!! I wash her hair... double twist and add this product! I add the product to her ends once a week!

Shea Moisture, you have done it again! The ends of my hair were damaged, split and dry. So I decided to try the repair product. From the first use it repaired my ends making them soft and healthy .

This product reminds me of Murray’s hair wax but so much better! It’s not greasy but more of a solid texture. You do not need to use a lot of this product all over your hair which is why the jar is so small. A little goes a long way. I use it to seal the ends of mine and my daughter’s hair after I twist or braid it and that prevents dryness and breakage.

I love this stuff. I have really long hair and this stuff makes it so much easier to brush out. It makes my hair feel stronger, and it smells nice. It doesn't leave a residue feeling in my hair. I can't recommend it enough.

I can’t attest to the effectiveness of this product because I only used it one time. I am having trouble with split ends/breakage and bought this on a whim. I got out of the shower & applied to my towel-dried damp hair. It is SO STICKY!!! Literally like raw honey straight out of the jar. Label says to use on wet or dry hair but if I had put this in my hair dry it would have been a rats nest. Didn’t really absorb very quickly & I was left trying to work it into the lower parts of my hair. Even though this line from Shea Moisture is - I thought - supposed to be good for Type 2 hair, mine didn’t seem to like it. I’m hesitant to use it again since it was such a mess. Maybe this will work better on someone with habitually dry tightly-curled hair.

Arrived on time and came in a shrink wrapped box packaging around the bottle. First time buying this. I didn't expect it to have such a hard and waxy texture, even in Singapore's weather (I looked it up and the texture is supposed to be like this). You need to use your finger and break a little piece off and melt it between your fingers to use. Use a little at a time on small sections of hair. There isn't much of a scent in the bottle but it smells really good after you put it on. It's NOT very moisturising. Usually I put some oil on and then layer it with the split end balm, which then helps to seal my ends, reduces tangles a little, and makes y ends look less crazy. This product does contain carnauba wax so I think it might cause some buildup that you need to wash off properly. I might repurchase. Since I don't use much at one time, it will take a while to finish one bottle.
