Red Hot Reaper – 1x Chip Challenge Hottest Chip – Carolina Reaper Spicy Challenge - Stupidly Spicy Hot Chip, Black

The media could not be loaded. I like spicy food and have done the paqi one chip challenge before. This chip (Red Hot Reaper) is hotter than the paqi. Thankfully, the heat didn’t last as long. The heat from the paqi chip definitely lasts longer.In my opinion, The Red Hot Reaper is the sprint. It’s an evil sprint! Takes about a minute, then it’s full blast! I drank water within 5 minuets and had to gargle it for a few minutes. The paqi chip is the marathon. Takes longer to feel full blast, you think you got it, then it gets worse. Once you think you’re good, it gets worse again. I was able to get to 10 minutes without drinking milk, but the after effects are worse than the Red Hot Reaper.

I give this product a five star rating because when I tell you they delivered the heat, they delivered the heat! Buy this chip, eat this chip at your own risk because it’s Hell in an edible version. I guzzle down a half gallon jug of milk and still had to go and scrape my tongue. CAUTION: if you are looking for a spice challenge, this is it. Parents do not buy this for your child; that’s abuse. I rated the giftable a one star because I can’t see myself putting someone else through that torture. Lol

This has become a tradition in my house. My husband buys one of these every Christmas as a stocking stuffer for our teen son. I have to leave the room whenever this come out. It is terribly hot and not great tasting. Every year I worry someone is going to need to go to the hospital or faint! While I don't understand the appeal, I know people love them.

Person who ate this chip, did so, in one bite!As the rest of us watched, ready to laugh, not a tear, not a whoosh of breath, nothing! Eaten just like any other hot chip product!Very disappointed that I paid for one, yes, just one chip! Not worth the cost!!!

To be clear, this chip has the potential to be painful. Especially if you are not used to chili peppers. However, it was not mind-blowingly hot or painful. I would say it was about as hot as a fresh Thai Birdseye pepper. Not even as hot as a fresh Habanero. My biggest complaint is it is just hot, with no real flavor. It tasted burned, to be honest. And salty. The burn lasts for a few minutes, but is not too bad.

I was looking for a prank gift and this worked great, nice and hot!

I didn't eat it but my brother in law did and he was dying from how hot it was I was cracking up
