Learning and fun for the whole family!
As a European, this game has been great for me and my kids to help us learn all the US States and Capitals. I am not ashamed to say that my kids are picking up the facts faster than I am 😊 But most importantly, we are having a great time playing some of the suggested games, also just using the flash style cards to come up with our own ways to learn. Fun for the whole family!

Fun & Engaging!
Ordered this for my 8yo daughter. This is easy to play, and even I have learned a lot. It’s very portable and easy to carry. You can just throw it in your bag and go, a big plus!

Not sure about the game
I’m not so sure this is the most fun game. The cards were very helpful as my son was learning states and capitals and it’s nice that they have other facts about the states. The game aspect of it was not tons of fun. They did work really well as flashcards as we were trying to learn the different capitals

Not really a game - basically just flash cards :(
That the description is misleading by calling it a game …….. they are just flash cards . Overpriced for just flash cards !

Not Very Sturdy, for Older Kids Only
I didn't realize that the picture of the USA isn't a poster. It's just a folded up sheet of paper. It can be used as part of the game, or ignored. The cardboard box the cards come in is very flimsy. The cards are sturdy, but I've learned games only last as long as the box they come in. Once the box is destroyed, the pieces quickly disappear. The cards are sturdier, though, and can be played with in multiple ways. The simplest game, of course, is "name that state." Show the other child one side of the card - the side that has the state shape, state flag, and state nickname. Child is to guess what state it is. The game can be made harder or easier, by either withholding some of the information, or adding more.Other games suggested help teach state capitals and state facts, what states border that state, and more. That's a lot of information to get from a single deck of cards! I plan to take them with me when we go camping next summer. We can have some fun and drill a few facts while we're at it, maybe pulling up the facts of a certain state only after finding a license plate from that state first. The storage box is very thin and won't last long. You might do well to order a clear plastic card storage box. Your States & Capitals Game will last longer if you do.
