Autoswitches!
My previous splitter was a hassle to use. Manual, 4k60hz, and would cause frame drops and screen blackouts with my PS5 and weird frame color corruption issues with my PS3. Alongside upgrading all my cables to HDMI 2.1, I also invested in this splitter. There's a couple of things about this particular splitter I quite like. First, it requires power. For some this may be a downside, but this enables other handy features this device can do, and ensures the transferring of video data is more or less seamless. My only complaint here is that the provided USB C cable is far too short, and no charger block is included. Luckily I have tons of cables to spare, as well as a power strip with USB ports, but this may be something to consider. Second, this thing is compact and sleek! I like that all of the ports are in the back of the device. Being a fan of cable management, it's nice to make things as tidy as possible. Third, IT AUTO SWITCHES! You can use the remote if it doesn't cooperate (which includes shutting the splitter on and off), but as seen in the video, it detects when a new device is powered on and automatically switches to it. This is particularly fantastic for consoles. I have my Switch, PS3, and PS5 connected to this splitter, and it is able to detect and seamlessly switch to each device. It operates on recency, so whatever device was powered on most recently will be the input it switches to. Luckily, though, the device comes with a remote so you can switch the splitter on, and to whatever HDMI you want, without getting up. You do have to toggle on the remote (there's a button for this, don't forget to do this), but once it's done it is responsive and works well. Overall, I am happy with this product. Time will tell if I experience the issues I was having previously with my devices, but I feel confident that this in combination with the most modern HDMI cables should let me get back to gaming without issue!

G-Sync does not work with this switch
G-Sync does not work with this switch. I have a 5070 Ti going through it with certified cables. I can get 144hz refresh, but with G-Sync active, the screen cuts out. Turn off G-Sync, no cut out. Bypass the Fosmon, G-Sync works fine. So, just beware before buying. Out of the return window, so I am effed. Glad it wasn't much $$$

Great little switch
Works great, this was an upgrade to an older switch that had only 2 ports. Love that it automatically detects a source and switches to it. I work from home a few days a week and it's simple to quickly switch from work to personal computers (1 Mac, 1 Windows desktop, and 1 Windows laptop). I don't use the remote as the switch is on my desk and within easy reach...if I need to switch sources, it's as simple as reaching over and pushing a button.

Great built quality, time will tell on the 8K@60hz capabilities
The build quality and size are top notch! I used another brand before this and they very "stupidly" put the "out" HDMI on the front and all the "in" on the back. Why??? With that said, all of these are on the back thank god, I won't be using the remote (hopefully) as this does auto switching for HDMI feeds. One thing I did take a star off for was the lack of ability to provide a feed for my laptop (being connected via a dock and ran to switcher). I tried one other brand before this and it could not pull this off either, starting to think this just is not possible. As for the 8K @ 60hz, I won't know this answer for years (if ever) so time will tell if this switcher will do as it says. Nice build quality overall and love the small size of it.

Good switch for portable 16 inch monitors
I recently bought two different 16 inch portable monitors from Amazon. I discovered they were BOTH very picky about the quality of the input HDMI signal. Some cables gave me trouble. I wanted to drive these monitors via an HDMI switch as I have several computers. Several years ago, back in the 1080 days, I got a Kinivo switch, and it was just fine,. So for these 4K 16 inch monitors, I tried the KinIvo switch. The monitors had fits. So, I thought I would try this switch. Granted this switch has just 3 inputs and the Kinivo switch had 5, I decided to give it a try. The 4K mode on this switch worked great on the portable 16 inch 4K monitor. If you only need to switch 3 inputs, I would suggest this switch. It worked fine. It is quite small. Granted, it needs external power, but I can understand the need for active electronics to switch inputs. I am very happy with this purchase. I have also learned that the 4K 16 inch monitors pretty much want their inputs pretty close to perfect. Also, this switch was much less expensive then the other switch. Save some money, this one works!

Works as advertised!!!
Does exactly what it advertises. Passes all formats. I have a Series X, PS5, and a Switch 2. 4k? Check. 120? Yup. HDR. Yes sir. Comes with remote. It works fine. Auto switching work well also. Its usb powered. No power adapter. I plug it into a spare usb port on my tv. It has a small footprint and is made of metal. I bought a used like new one. Work's flawlessly and looks brand new. Also saved me $6. Highly recommend. Screenshot of Series X and PS5 passing all signals.

You will need your own HDMI and power cables
I have this hooked up to my Google TV Hub, PS5, and Switch 2. It does exactly what I need it to do which is switch between the different devices when I turn them on, without sacrificing sound to display.

Needs external power
The overall build seems solid. And YES auto-switching works. -it will switch to the last plugged-in source -it will also switch to the active (non-sleeping) source while plugged in You can turn off/on auto-switching by holding down the button for 2-3 sec. (the little "A" light will turn off/on to let you know) Or if you lose power, auto-switch will turn back ON by default. If you plan to manually switch, there are 2 options. 1) Auto ON, pushing the button will cycle through all the LIVE source and skip dead ones. 2) Auto OFF, the button will cycle through ALL source regardless if anything is plugged into them. The biggest downside with this device is POWER. It will NOT self-power via HDMI cables, it requires an external source. Yes you get a USB-A to USB-C cable, but DOES NOT INCLUDE a power adapter. So you you need to find a USB power source to power this thing. Also it requires quite a bit of power. If you have a cheap 1amp USB plug, it probably won't work, depending on quality. So you will need a 2amp (20watt) adapter to make sure it runs properly. You will know if you do not have sufficient power, when you plug into power source and the lights on the Switch start to flicker. And or if you try manually switch and it doesn't work. They REALLY, REALLY, should have included a power adapter!

Don't waste your time
Fails at the most basic functions. The IR frequency used is the same as my TV's volume and a night light I have. When I change the volume on my TV, it switches input on this switch. On/Off also toggles my night light. It's the first HDMI switch I used that has an IR function toggle button. It's like they knew it was going to interfere with other devices but instead of correcting the issue, they added the option to temporarily lock their IR receiver. Auto switch rarely works, somehow always defaults back to input 2 when powered on even if the only live input is 3.
