Surprisingly a very solid alternate to the Dewalt
Bought to keep in the RV for fast adjusting the stabilizing legs up & down. Didn't expect the drill to be that strong but it was! Really like that it has the hammer feature as one of the settings as well. If it lasts a while then this was a great buy!

Good Value alternative to the Dewalt
This drill appears to be patterned after the Dewalt DCD790 (that I own) and it also includes the addition of hammer-drill mode and a detachable grip handle. Just a quick reminder, this DOES NOT include a 20w Dewalt MAX Lion battery pack. For drill and screw operations, it works fine. It's a bit louder than the Dewalt but seems just as powerful. The hammer drill function does work, but I wasn't impressed with it...it did not seem to drill masonry as well as my corded hammer drill. It's a nice add on, but I wouldn't expect to use it unless I only needed to drill a single small hole in concrete, brick, or masonry and didn't want to have to go out the shop to get a my masonry drill. If you are looking for a value priced alternative and already have access to Dewalt 20w Max battery packs, this is a really good value.

Super tough cordless hammer drill, but does not include battery
This looked like a really useful tool for drilling, screwing, and hammer drilling. When I opened the included storage container I was amazed at how well-built and sturdy this drill is.I think you could drop the drill itself off a building and it would put a hole in the concrete and go right back to work. It's a little heavier than my [green company] drills, but not too much to hold up in the air while working. It also comes with a clamp-on side handle for additional stability when drilling.Features on the drill include an LED headlight and easy to understand markings for the stated functions. It's important to note the drill does NOT come with a battery. This unit is sold as a drill that fits a Dewalt 20V battery. But it is NOT a Dewalt drill. The brand is Nichilas. So, if you have other Dewalt batteries, this would work nicely with them. However, I have all [green company] tools and batteries, so this is a one-off for me.I had the option of buying Dewalt batteries and chargers for this drill, or knockoff batteries and charger - but then I saw that particular green color on Amazon. Turns out [green tool company] makes an adapter to allow their batteries to be used with Dewalt (and Nichilas) tools! I'm saved. For $23 I can use my existing [green company] batteries and charger instead of buying the other brands. Note, as shown in the picture, that green battery adapter adds a lot of height to the tool. Something to keep in mind if you are working in tight spaces. So, I put my new green adapter and existing green battery on this bad boy and put it to work. The chuck opens quite wide to accept larger bits. It has no trouble drilling and screwing. The headlight makes it easy to see what I am doing. Now I need to get a masonry bit and some concrete - then it's hammer time.Really there are only 2 negatives I have noticed with this drill.1. There is no magnet to hold screws or bits. My green tools have a magnetic tray to hold small parts so they don't get lost.2. The storage case for the drill. It's a hard case which protects the drill very well, and it also holds the side handle - but that's it. No room for a battery or any accessory kits. Just a little bigger and it would be perfect, holding a battery and small bit kit in addition to the drill. In summary, if you have Dewalt batteries and chargers this would make a great and inexpensive addition to your cordless tools. If you don't have Dewalt already, you will have to buy some stuff to be able to use this tool. Other companies make battery adapters that work just fine with this tool. You might want to invest in a larger case to store the drill, battery, and bits.

Powerful and Compact
Review: Cordless Drill/Driver for DEWALT 20V MAX Battery, Impact type Variable Speed 150Nm Brushless Motor for Professional Worker (Battery Not Included)I asked my neighbor if I could show him my new Impact Drill. He has a DeWalt and mine looks a lot like his. When I brought it over, they were almost exact. They look extremely similar to each other. I ran down the list of features on my drill, as he did his, and they were pretty much the same. Even the torque was the same. When I slid a battery in for the first time, it spun with a lot of power and torque. I sipped on an impact driver and connected a bolt to it and started drilling into some very hard wood. I had a small block of Mopani left over, which is 3390 on the Janka Hardness Scale. My bolt was 3-inches long and it would need a lot of power to drive it all the way in. I think it would have made it too, but my Mopani block was only 2 1/2-inches deep. Nevertheless, it did a fine job and continued to run strong.I don't think one 2 1/2-inch bolt in a piece of Mopani is a complete test, but my other branded drill couldn't make it through. It feels great in my hand, feels balanced and is a nice compact size. I also like the impact handle that is able to move from one side to the other. The controls are simple, like any other cordless drill, all my DeWalt batteries fit and ran perfectly, and I even received a little carrying case for it. This is a great buy on Amazon. I'm very happy I saw this and was able to order it.
