Q: Can this be used to make vanilla flavored milk?

I wouldn’t use it for that. Kari syrup is mostly used for baking and candy making.

Q: is there a use by date?

There is. The new one I bought has one for sep 2017. I suspect each bottle will have a different one depending on the batch it was in.

Q: Can this be used in dressing for macaroni salads?

By itself, I would definitely not. Maybe you could find some sort of recipe to mix it with some other things, but honestly, I probably still wouldn't. It's too thick and sweet. A few of its more common uses is jello and pecan pie filling.
