Truly excellent. The pieces fit together perfectly and the little ...
Truly excellent. The pieces fit together perfectly and the little house is super cool. I think that the speed of play was actually increased because we spent so much less time digging for what we needed through tokens and room tiles. It took my two little sisters, my mom, and I about thirty minutes to assemble everything. We didn't use a craft knife or wood glue, and didn't need to sand the pieces, with maybe one exception. Everything popped together and was super sturdy, but I decided to brush on polyurethane after it was completed. I definitely recommend sealing the wood, even if you just use spray glaze from the craft store, because it was pretty clear to me that it would pick up stains very easily because the wood is very dry and absorbent. The book box even absorbed a lot of the polyurethane!Cleanup was faster than just using baggies would be. We just put the whole card box, discard still in the lower tray, back into the box and will just have to shuffle when we play again. The pieces fit perfectly into the box, though stacking them was not intuitive. I definitely recommend keeping the instructions. All of my pieces fit perfectly for both House on the Hill and Widow's Walk. When I first shopped for this, I balked at the price. This product was definitely worth it, though. (And I'm usually a total cheapskate.) The increased speed of play alone made it worth it, but cleanup was a breeze, too. I love the card holder with discard! It's awesome for playing with little kids who otherwise constantly lose, spill drinks on, or bend up discarded cards. The discard just goes right below the draw deck, and when you want to clean up, you shuffle them together and pack it up.The product is extremely high quality. The woodburning is beautiful (though the raven was a little less cleanly burned than the one in the picture). The house comes with slats that are intended to be used if you are playing Baldur's Gate, but you can use them with House on the Hill, too. We are going to use them next time to separate out tiles that are basement only and upper story only. I think the stat trackers are hit-or-miss on whether they fit tightly. Most of them do fit better than the original ones, but I think that 1 set out of our 6 was loose. It was about the same when I played with my friend's set a while back. I haven't tried to contact them yet to get a replacement. Still, the kids loved the little colored stat tracker pins and immediately called dibs on their favorite colors.I will definitely buy from Broken Token again. Truly love the craftsmanship that went into this. I have never seen such an impressive wood craft kit.

A simply fantastic box and play organizer for Betrayal at House on the Hill!
This is my fifth Broken Token insert, having already purchased three LCG inserts and one for 7 Wonders: Duel. The Betrayer insert is yet another outstanding Broken Token product which makes storing and setting up Betrayal at House on the Hill and its expansion Widow's Walk so much faster and convenient. The original vacuum-formed organizer which comes with the game is okay, but doesn't allow for sorting the numerous cards, tokens, and other bits included with the game. The Betrayer has several independent trays allowing you to easily sort all the tokens by type and keep them handy nearby, There is nothing more aggravating than looking through a large pile of random tokens to find that last one you need for the Haunt. The tile-tower is fantastic, keeping all the floor tiles neatly stacked and ready to dispense. The card tray is my favorite piece, however. It has slots for the discards, which is super-convenient. The token trays and card tray have the appropriate token shapes or cards symbols burned into them to make organization even simpler. The whole thing is just so well thought-out.Assembly is pretty easy. The included diagrams are simple to follow, requiring only two or three steps per piece. While glue is recommended, I have never used it when assembling any Broken Token organizers. The pieces fit together so snugly they aren't ever coming apart! If you take your time and follow the instructions and tips, you'll have the Betrayer assembled in no time. I leisurely assembled mine in just under an hour.As an aside, I accidentally broke one of the small acrylic character clips which come with the game. I contacted Broken Token through their non-priority email and they got back to me within the hour. They're sending me a replacement for free. That is excellent customer service and how you create loyal customers. So, the bottom line is that this is a great organizer. Now if Broken Token would only release a Merchants & Marauders organizer...

Well-though out, well-made, and very effective at shortening set-up time
Exceptionally well designed -- fits in the box neatly; pieces do not come out or get mixed up. Works very well in play, as well -- the tiles can be drawn from their holder, and you can even set it up to have a separate slot for the basement starting tile and the upper landing and roof starting tiles (the entry hall goes in the largest box with the rules). The boxes for the cards even have slots for discards and all boxes are clearly marked. Held all the tiles, cards and counters from the base game and Widow's Walk as well, which is nice.Went together easily in about an hour. I didn't use any glue -- it just didn't feel needed -- and had a minimum amount of hobby knife work. The wood is thin and won't stand up to rough handling (such as being sat or stepped on) but is more than strong enough to dispense counters and cards, and to go in and out of the box. I was frankly surprised at how sturdy the boxes felt after assembly. Finally, set up is about half the time it was when everything was in little baggies and everyone loved having the cards and tiles in their own dispensers.

Cards don’t fit after using mayday grey sleeves
Was said to fit sleeved cards but it doesn’t fit mayday grey which is supposed to be the size for it.

A Perfect Product!
Absolutely love my new Betrayal organizer, I play this game a lot and I've always found the most annoying thing about it is when you have to go searching for tokens - it really slows down the game! Well not anymore with this box organizer.I played with my friends last weekend and we had this organizer and the game play went much smoother - we didn't have to pause for a moment while we dug out the slide token or the vault token and setting up the board when the haunt began was a breeze since we could easily find the right monster tokens.Every token and card has a place and fits perfectly in the box and it even accommodates the widows walk expansion pack.I must admit when I first opened the package and realized I had to put it together myself I was a bit overwhelmed as it looked complicated, but it is actually very easy. It comes with very clear instructions and also a gives a link to a YouTube video that shows you how to put it together if you need a visual aid.I am not a crafty or DIY person but even I managed to put this together quickly and easily - and I actually enjoyed doing it too.My only criticism is that some of the coloured sliders for the character cards don't stay on, but that seems to be a recurring problem with the original sliders in the game itself too so not a big deal.I highly recommend this product to anyone who plays the game frequently.

Intuitive design, good quality, everything fits well and pieces don't fall out when stored sideways.
A detailed review from beginning to end. First up, the organisers literally came the day after I placed the order, insane prime delivery speed. Now for the assembling itself, the instructions were very easy to follow. Pretty much all the pieces are intuitively designed, meaning that the pieces were symmetrical so that they would fit regardless of which orientation you assemble them in, based on intuition (all except the side panels of the house assembly. They were angled, so the two side panels have to be facing the same direction for the assembly to work).I would also highly recommend using some PVC glue (I used Elmers glue $3.50 from amazon) to complement the building process, just to boost the structural integrity of the organisers (even though they'd be fine without them, they're pretty tight fit for the most part). Some sand paper would be nice as well to smoothen out the connector parts (I just used the filer from my Leatherman).Overall, everything sat really well in the box. The game tokens and everything didn't disorient when the box was put back sideways in my board games shelf. Really happy with this purchase!
