I wore this when I spent a few days in a castle where a medieval banquet was held. I chose the Large size as I am a size 14-16 and hover between the two. It fitted really well and there are ties at the back to take up the slack! The material is better than I expected and as I had to iron it before I wore it, was a bit anxious as to whether it would stand up to it, but it did! The headdress took a bit of sorting out but once I had worked it out how to put it on it was very effective and looked the part. Great value for money. I received many compliments and I recommended it to many people at the banquet.

This dress is great, it fits well and is stretchy so it makes it very comfortable. I ordered a medium as I am normally about a size 14 in most clothes and it fits, I definitely wouldn't want it any bigger. I am 5ft 6inches tall so the length is perfect. The only reason I have given it 4 stars is because the headpiece is far too small. My head measures 22.5 inches (i think is was about an inch too small) and I have had to take this to a seamstress to have it altered and have some elastic put at the back to I can wear it. Other than that I would recommend as a very reasonably priced fancy dress outfit.

Good quality dress and was pleased with price, but wrong size was sent.

I ordered the medium size dress, and me at 5.6ft tall, it was a little short on the hem and the sleeves, but not enough to be horribly noticeable.The square neckline is of a generous size, so ladies if you've got your lovely lady lumps here you'll be fine, where as I had to make sure I was wearing the most padded bra I owned while still constantly adjusting the neckline through out my evening to make sure I didn't flash everyone.But still I was happy with the outfit, apart from the headpiece which is a bit on the small side, and I didn't like the look of the 2 veils hanging down on either side of my head, so I cut them off, and it looked much better.The colour and fabric was of a good quality, and I actually got a bit hot by the end of the evening due to the velvet.All, in all a good buy and everyone complimented me for my outfit.

Fits lovely and very comfortable to wear for a long period of time. I wore this for world book day at school and had it on for around twelve hrs and it still looked good. The only thing that let it down a little is the stitching on the end of the selves detail started to come undone a bit, as not finished properly. I fixed it easily buy tiring the cotton end together and that held nicely till in stitched it properly. I would still recommend this as good value for money.

Came next day (Sunday) with prime. Ordered a medium after reading comments (I'm size 12-14 in a dress). It was a little on the big side around the waist so the nice waist band hung down a bit, but would only require pinning to sort it, I would order the same size if I was to order again. At 5ft6 it was a tiny bit too short but could get away with it. As others have mentioned the head dress is tiny, I have a small head and it literally just fit. The dress feels really good quality and looks a lot more expensive than it was!

It's ok for a silly dress up party, but would not be suitable for a more formal occasion, such as a medieval themed ball or banquet, for example. There seem to be some issues with length, according to other reviews, so to try and help explain: I am 5foot 6 and without shoes the dress touches the floor, exactly as on the model in the picture shown here. There isn't actually a pink underskirt, as the picture seems to imply - the pink material is simply a triangular panel that has been sown into the front. Similarly, the border across the hip does not actually go all around the dress, same with the border around the neckline - it does not continue around the back. This makes the dress pretty boring and unflattering to look at from behind, as it's basically just one huge sack of crushed velveteen material when looked at from the back. The finishing is ok, I had to cut off various threads that were still hanging off the seams, but nothing too drastic. The headpiece does fit me ok, but from experience when buying hats, my head does seem to be on the small side. However the bits of veil that are supposed to come down by the side of the face are smaller than in the picture shown, which makes them look quite silly. Plus, I think the model is actually wearing the headpiece incorrectly, as it contains more veil (not visible in the picture) that I think goes around the neck and chin (Google 'Medieval Headdress' and you'll see what I mean.) It looks ok when this veil part is worn around the front of the neck, but it still doesn't change the fact that the bits on the side of the face are too short.

Bin zufrieden mit diesem Kostüm. Habe es nun 2x als Rapuzel mit einem Haarteil getragen und es ist noch wie neu. Die Kopfbedeckung finde ich nicht gelungen. Habe sie deshalb auch nicht genutzt. Insgesamt fällt das Kostüm eher größer aus.Alles in allem empfehlenswert.
