Alcatel E260S Voice Trio - Cordless Phone with answering machine and 3 Handsets - Landline Home Phones - Call Blocking Telephones - UK Only

My previous phone was very basic and cost more. To get hands free and an answer phone for this price is incredible. Lots of other features make it well worth buying. Setup was easy.

The phones look good, the only complaints are they only store 50 numbers in the memory. Also the user guide does not cover as much as I would like. Otherwise we'll pleased.

Really liked these phones. Reasonable price and did everything I wanted - call blocker, different ringtones, etc. Unfortunately, nearly six months later they are now both showing 'out of range'. They haven't been dropped and I've tried all the usual things but still showing out of range. Contacted Amazon who couldn't have been more helpful and I can return the phones for a full refund.EDIT - the phones are not broken. The phone connected to the phone line was plugged into an extension socket and the main power point had been switched off. So, refund cancelled and I'm delighted I can still use these phones.

Easy to hold handsets easy to use numerals.

Didn't come with any instructions so can't see how I am expected to give a accurate review when all it does is accept incoming calls

As much as the handsets are comfortable in the hand and that numbers can be stored and you can access the answerphone from the handset, there are many annoyances with the set.The volume of the ringers is eardrum splitting (even on its lowest setting) but the volume using the speakerphone is not great (even tuned up full) and the caller can hardly hear you even if the phone is but a few inches from your mouth.The display screen is horrendous. There have been times I've mistaken the date (14:06) as the time! That's if you can see the screen clearly without the back light on. The set up is sort of okay but it was easier to search the internet for a user manual, than what came with it.The handset cannot be turned off, once it's on and charged, that's it, it's on for life. Get used to hearing the annoying 'beep-beep' because of low battery. Don't trust the power indicator, often it has two bars but when I start dealing 'poof' it's no bars and starts beeping to be recharged.

Well pleased easy to set up

Although this was a nice set for the price with a good display I,m afraid the sound quality was a bit of a let down. I had it set on full volume but still had difficulty hearing people talking. To be fair I have to say that I have some hearing difficulty but my wife has not and she found it difficult to hear conversations on this phone as well. This item was subsequently returned.
