What a struggle to get these in. I had to leave them in for two weeks until my ears recovered and then I took them out by bending them. My ears were so sore from trying to get them in. I will not be wearing them again.

These earrings are perfect. I read the reviews and had some concern about the difficulties some people were having trying to fasten them when they put them on.However, I checked how difficult they were to secure before wearing them and managed to fasten them with only a little difficulty. I put them in from the back as suggested, which made it easier, then as they are hinged, it is just a matter of putting a little pressure on the ring and securing the pin into the hole. Fiddly, but worth it as this makes them very secure.Not earrings to take out often, but if you want comfy, secure hoops, these are perfect !

Lovely item and value for money

After reading other reviews about the difficulty opening and closing these earrings I thought how hard can it be? Well, it was hard, but worth it. I was scared I was going to snap them when I was trying to open them as they were incredibly stiff. I did open them though and put them in my ear from the back so I could see what I was doing to close them. Fastening them was equally as hard, my poor ears took a battering as I tried to insert the thinner part of the earring into the hollow, larger tube. After a good 10 minutes and a lot of swear words I had them fastened. They look and feel great and they were worth the effort to get them in. I'm considering buying the next size up once my ears have recovered although as they are a thinner hoop I may recruit help when putting them in.

There comfortable earring I also wear the one 24/7 and also shower and wash everyday I even wear one earring to work with no problem at all. They're great value for money

I was looking for a pair of sleeper type hoop earrings that I could wear all the time - sleeping, washing, swimming, whatever. I've had little thin ones that broke after a short time but these are a nice size and reassuringly solid. I've worn them constantly (24/7) for several weeks now since I got them and don't notice they are there. Getting them on was fiddly and left my ears tender for a short time, but I hadn't worn earrings regularly for a long while and wearing any earrings for a few hours had caused discomfort. I love them!

These are good size sleepers, just what I wanted, but I just wish they were easier to lock shut. Can't wear them like this in case I lose them which is a shame as I wanted to use them for every day and night wear. But anyway, I will persevere and keep trying to get them to close ..... trouble is ...... I will then be wondering if I'll ever be able to open them again. Lol!!

I have loads of this brands goodies but these particular earrings are not good!!I struggled so much to simply close them, eventually getting my daughter to help me. They are now in and are hurting my ears as if they are not sterling silver like that other two pairs of earrings I’m wearing are.U wouldn’t recommend
