I had the same ones before and they had lasted a good 3 years. So I bought the same kind here because I like them a lot. These newer ones are even better in that I can use the colored lights if I wake up in the middle of the night needing to use the bathroom, and then hold the button to turn it off.

I received these two oil diffusers with great hope. I will say I am slightly happy with them. I love the fact that you can have them do a little light show of multiple colors or pick a single color. I also like that it has a personal timer so it will go off when the water levels are low so you do not ruin it. You must use bottled water and can use a variety of oils.Now the reasoning for the okay review of 3 stars. I bought this in hopes to replace all my plugs in, yes this has to plug in but I thought this would cost less, no more tons of plug ins everywhere, and I would have more picks of smells. I plugged it in and really didn't smell anything. I thought maybe to add more oil and still only got a slight smell. This would be something that only works in small spaces, maybe an office or small bedroom. This did not smell my living room which isn't a huge area, I live in a townhome.I also used a stronger/darker oil and it stained the diffuser which I tried to clean and also if you use the same oil it starts to pick up that scent.I would say buy for smaller areas, or to help with air moisture - I know that sounds odd... my daughter has very bad allergies and I put this in her room with just water and turned it on and it made the air in her room have some moisture which helped her plus she really enjoyed the changing of different lights.---------In the end--------*Doesn't give off strong scent*Works better in smaller areas*Has feature of either single light on or changing from one light to another*Has to be plugged in and requires bottled water only*Oils are bought seperately*Built in timer / goes off when water is gone (great feature)EDIT JULY 2018I was given a chance to try out the bigger unit made by InnoGear Model IG-EOD-009. I am very pleased with this unit. The bigger size and long lasting features allow my living room to smell very pleasant for hours This model works in the bigger area that when I bought the two smaller units did struggle to do (unless I had both on) I love how long the unit lasts with a full tank of water. It is very bright and when moved into the bedroom it made a great nightlight. I will continue to the smaller units in the smaller rooms and this bigger unit in our living room.I am very happy with the bigger unit and recommend to anyone that is wanting to smell a bigger area than say a spare bedroom this be the option to pick from. Both diffuser sizes are very soft sounding and when there is no lights on you cannot tell they are on which was a huge plus for the kids at night.

Easy to create your own scents with purchase of oils, color light options gives a nice touch. Would make a great purchase for yourself or for a gift. Con is must make sure you don't leave on too long that it runs without water and oils.

I bought this pair in spring of 2018. As I write this it's now fall 2021. I've had similar devices before and given that I tend to run them for up to 12 hours at a time, I don't expect them to last more than 18 months. I bought this pair expecting 12 to 18 months use out of each of them. I'm still using the first one! I have Depression & Insomnia, so I tend to spend a lot of time in my bed (either hiding or trying to fall asleep) and as soon as I go into my room for the evening I fill up the water and started it going. I do have to make sure I put enough scent in the water to be able to really notice it, but the water vapor helps with my asthma as well. Nice little nightlight too. You do need to remember to clean it from time to time (both the cone area where some of the oils can catch and the base) but it's not something that needs to be done all that often. You could probably get away with doing both quarterly. Seriously contemplating ordering a second set in case they're no longer making them by the time number 2 (which I'm still not using) finally dies. Good gift for someone who needs a little humidity in the air at the bedside or at their desk)

Él difusor funciona muy bien. Tiene mucho que lo compré y no hice la reseña en su momento creo que tiene como 2 años conmigo y ambos funcionan aún exactamente igual desde la primera vez.
