Bought this to handle cooking and canning tasks outside while it's hot to spare the extra heat in the house. First day out of the box it ran for about 4 hours total processing/canning peaches. Second day it ran for close to 7 hours cooking down tomatoes and then water bath canning them. Held up great to the weight.If it keeps up the way it has for the first two days, I'll be very very happy with my purchase!

Bought this to allow me more cooking space during canning sessions with my daughter. I set my canning pot on it and ran it on high for hours and had no issues. It was easy to clean up with a damp cloth and is small enough to store easily. So far it has held up and done exactly what the product claimed it would. I definitely recommend this product.

I am an avid canner but my old stove was downright dangerous, so we decided to upgrade to a new stove. My hubby bought a really fancy induction stove for our 53rd Wedding Anniversary for me. The problem is that my lovely aluminum canners cannot be used on an induction burner. I did some research and decided that this cooktop might suit my needs. I have only used it a couple of times so far, but I absolutely love it! I can put it on my counter and use any of my pots or skillets on it. My only issue is learning how to translate the heating units, because they are not temperatures, but wattages. It is easy to clean, store and use. What more can I ask ?

It works great but it's very annoying for people with good hearing. It buzzes at a high frequency once it is plugged.

I presently am the owner of an antique gas stove with only three burners, and since I do a LOT of cooking, there are more than a few times when a fourth burner would be useful and appreciated. Therefore, seeing this on Amazon/Vine, and noting that it is portable as well as infrared, meaning I could use my present pots with this, I made the leap into getting it. It came quickly and securely packaged, with no flaws at all when unpacked. It is so simple to use, just plug it in after reading over the instructions, choose the settings you need, and cook away! I particularly like that it is NOT induction so I can use my favorite pots with this, and when you aren't using it, the burner can be safely stored away for future use. A good buy.

This little one burner infrared stove can heat up and boil a pot of water in no time. We had one previously, but it was an induction stove. You had to use certain pots on it. Of course, they weren't our pots. and I had to purchase a couple more that would work. We use this cooktop in our RV when we are plugged in to electricity. Instead of using our propane for 10 minutes to boil a pot of water, this little cooktop can do it in 3 or 4 minutes. It would also be good for small apartments or as a back-up when you are on generator power. Note: This is an INFRARED cooktop NOT an INDUCTION cooktop.
