OK, I'm a bit obsessive with making my coffee at home. I don't have the time or energy for a pourover or french press or any of that, but I do try to get the best coffee I can out of my drip maker.My current coffee maker came with a reusable filter, but it was not good. It has a plastic mesh that let a LOT of grounds through. So, I thought I'd try this one and hope that it was universal enough to work for me.Well, it is. It doesn't nestle into the basket like the filter manufactured specifically for my coffee maker, but it's close enough to work. It still lets some of the finer grounds through for a hazy brew with a fine coffee paste at the bottom. It's not ideal, but it'll work. If you favor a coarser grind, it might work for you.Personally, I'm still using a paper filter PLUS a reusable filter, which helps it drain a little better without backing up, and I don't get any grounds in my coffee.Added bonus, at the time of writing, this is like half the price of the others out there.

It's not an exact fit but it fits. I just have to push down on the filter to seat it. My old filter just free-fell (lol) into placed. I had to double check to make sure and sure enough, I could sit it in any position and it would rotate until it sat in place. The new one just looks back at me like...What? I have to manually seat it. Maybe after some time and daily use, it will also free-fall and happily seat itself.
