I bought many of the Maples Vivian Medallion pattern in grey. I have special needs pets and a child so I needed a rug that was practical, affordable, soft for people, but also super easy to clean. I detest carpet cleaning machines and really wanted something I could clean without that.I doubt the listing says to put them in the washing machine BUT I DO! They even lived through being put in the dryer on high, which I never do but my “helpful” other half did in an effort to help with laundry. I wash them in the washer on a normal heavy cycle and hang them to dry. The photos I am going to post are current ones after long time use and MANY washes in the machine. You can see how well they hold up and none of the outer stitching has frayed at all. I’m completely impressed with them. I think I have 8 of these runners and also a 5x7 area rug (which doesn’t fit in a machine because the back of the larger one is stiffer and not the same) but I tossed that one over my fence sprayed it with cleaner and hosed it with a good pressure hose then left to air dry. Looked brand new. These are made in the USA which really is a bonus!The runners also have a rubber back so they will not slide anywhere! They don’t budge.I now have a new home and really wish the company had a larger selection of patterns for the rug. This one really doesn’t fit my home well anymore but I can’t part with them because nothing seems to hold up as well.I really feel these are worth much more than they cost. I will keep checking back to see if this brand expands their rugs to maybe some of the popular vintage/traditional/Persian style patterns with more colors in them.BUY THESE.

This runner rug is beautifully made and durable It vacuums well and stays in place:) Would definitely buy again!

Needed something to keep my dogs from slipping on tile floors. These mats are great. Beautiful and a great value.

Thought it would be a little darker coloring not it worked!

Update:I bought two more. Same quailty but I have to point out the color variations. They do still stay put but if your looking for matching these are not it. The color difference that you can see in the photo is not from lighting or a flash. They really are that different from each other. I was going to us them in a hallway instead of a runner cause the smaller ones are easier on the washer and dryer but they don't match so I'll use them in different spots of the house. It isn't a big deal as long as they aren't right next to each other, showing exactly how different they are color wise.Original comments:I have been looking for a small rug to put by our back door. We have one step down as you go thru the back door. It has tiny tiles as flooring and when they get wet it is slippery. Once when it was raining, with tennis shoes on, I stepped into it the back door and my foot slid so much I almost did the splits. I grabbed the door and caught myself but vowed to get a no movement rug to go there. I have bought a few and sure you can buy padding or other stay put stuff to put down BUT I just really wanted a simple rug to just lay flat and stay put without all the bulkyness of non slip stuff. I can't tell ya how absorbent it is yet and I haven't had to clean it yet...but I can tell you it really stays put. I even sent my grandaughters and dogs to play around to it and so far it hasn't moved. I love that part so much I bought 2 more. I got the gray one which is neutrally very pretty.

This is my fifth Maples rug. I had purchased one of the "other" washable runners, but the colors were so faded and tended to slip in the kitchen. This medallion pattern in the gray is my favorite. I love that they are made in the USA and are washable. Very happy with my purchase, and the price was incredible.

Good value for cost. Easy to wash. Colors are true. I did order 4 and one of the white portions does seem to be a little off white compared to the other 3 but it doesn't really bother me.

This carpet is a nice carpet for the money and adds another dimension to the bathroom. The colours were a bit brighter than expected, but still quite nice. They match a lot of towel colours ranging from white cream to various shades of blue.

it doesn't look like the photo at all. it looks cheaper IRL and color is not as vibrant as pictured. No gold accent at all.

Quality not as good as expected

Lays flat right out of the packaging. Lightweight can toss in the washing machine. Not really a heavy carpet, not really a bath mat. The runner is somewhere in between a bath mat and a carpet.I was going to place it beside my bed, but instead, I am currently using it in my living room. My dog likes to lay on it and chew his bone. I also keep the dog/cats water bowl on the mat.It gets the job done.
