Not for the faint hearted, allow at least 6-9 months and take your time. Instructions in French, but some English on the plans, which are very good. If you are used to working from plans and the odd illustration, you will really enjoy the challenge. Make no mistake, this makes a really impressive model, can be remote control if you want to sail it. Amazon price was really keen when I purchased and was considered a good buy. Have at least another two months to finish mine, getting all the little details right which makes the difference. Very pleased with the quality of wood and fittings, bear in mind some model fittings kits cost more than the model! Don't throw the box away, the illustration on the front is a source of information.
