Amazing life changing seat cover! I've always wished my car had ventilated seats. Well, now it does! I have a clinical heat intolerance and I'm constantly sweating, especially in the car. A/C only does so much for a sweaty back, derriere, and thighs. I used to get out the car pretty damp from sweating while sitting in the car. I just got out of the car after my commute and I'm perfectly dry! Love this thing. The fan is plenty powerful and not as loud as some say it is. I don't mind it.This thing hands-down beats any factory ventilated seats I've ever sat in (GM, Porsche, you name it). Probably due to the increased exposure to the air channels versus sitting in perforated leather seats with smaller holes.I did a bit of a custom install because I love this thing so much. I hard-wired it to switched 12v power and then added a simple rocker switch on the seat side trim for ON/OFF. The switch is not included of course, since I added it myself. Finally, I added a quick-disconnect under the seat so I can remove it after the summer season easily without disturbing any wiring.My only complaint is that it does add a tad bit of thickness to your seat height which can be an issue if you're tall and your seat is already as low as it goes. But this is to be expected. Eventually, I will graft in perforated leather/vinyl and do a permanent install so it's not a "cover" anymore.

I am a mail carrier...the really hot days of summer are not fun for me. I won't lie and say this cushion is as cold as air conditioning, but the air flow is enough to cool you down and help keep you from sweating. If you have A/C in the vehicle you are using this in, it is definitely more cooling; but even in the no-A/C mail trucks, it keeps you dry...or dryer than normal....just because of the air circulation.As far as comfort goes, it's no different than those $10/$15 wire-spring car seats, that supposedly let air flow. (Never been a fan of those.)The noise factor...some may say the fan is loud. Well, if I'm in a mail truck, those are so noisy, it doesn't make a difference. And if I'm in my personal vehicle, the natural road noise and my radio cancel out the fan sound.I've had it for about a month now...used it quite often, almost every day. Still working. No complaints from me.

I love these. I just bought my third one in as many years. They seem to last about 1 year on average. The wiring that connects the fan to the plug is vulnerable inside the fan-pouch, so, over a lot of use and movement, it can break or become detached. I've gotten to where I can't stand to drive without them, especially long distances. I highly recommend this product.

1st impression is NOISY, and the noise is not stable. whenever you make a turn, it buzzes differently/ Very annoying in a quiet car, possibly will be ignored in a 10 years old crappy car overwhelmed by its own noise already. however, not too much air flow made with such noise. and the area ventilated is limited - only part of your body is kind of cooled. Further more, this product's air vents are designed in an Anti-Human method: * while there's air coming from your back, it is blocked by the car seat's rim and will not do too much good; * while you are expecting more air flow to your back and 'sitting body part' where there's very little, there is plenty of air flow or even wind between your legs blowing where you do not want it to be cooled down so much that you would even wish you had a tail between your legs. Now it's only Feb-March, I do not know how bad it turns when the summer comes. I rarely give such negative review, however this product is so much under my expectation. I can do nothing about the noise, but definitely I will fill in quite a few vents locating between the legs and will cut many horizontal ducts along its rim to help the air cycling out! Just haven't figure out how to cut them calmly yet. Btw. They use cable tie to tie the cable and cut of the cable tie is very sharp, it punctured my finger.

I'm a carrier for the Post Office. Our trucks don't have AC, so it gets pretty hot in there - 10-20 degrees hotter than the outside air. This seat works pretty well. I bought one about18 months ago. It worked fine, until the wires inside the jack (where it plugs into the "cigarette lighter") came loose. Admittedly, I was pretty rough on it, without much thought to the connections. Being pretty handy with a soldering iron, I tried to fix it. Mistake...the wires are tiny and the jack was filled with little fiddly bits...no way I could fix it. So, I ordered another one. It works well, just like the other one, but I recommend reinforcing the "pull points" with electrician's tape. That'll probably make it work better in the long run.

My mother has a nerve problem causing her back to get extremely hot, and I thought why not try this. So I got it for her and she loves it. She said the air is cool on her back and that's all I needed to hear. I went over to take a look at it, and it is pretty thin so don't expect comfort. The fan noise is not too obtrusive on low, but noticeable on high. Still, if Mom likes it, that's all I care about. She thanks me almost every day so I recommend this product.

Works, however it doesn't stay in place. The straps broke on it after a week.Changing my review from 3 stars to 1 star. All the straps broke within a month of using this. I have a Jeep and this is AWFUL! Even though it cools, doesn’t do a bit of good when it doesn’t stay in place. The straps that suppose to clip on the side were useless. I disappointed in this product. I’m now shopping for a different one. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This worked great for TWO DAYS! I'm returning it because in order for it to work I have to open up the compartment where the fan is and push the fan to get it to start to work and even then its hit or miss if it will or not. Plus the material you sit on is very scratchy and I bought this because I wear shorts in the summer down south here and hated how my leather seats always made the back of my legs sweat....thought this was the answer....boy was I wrong!
