MAXIMUM DANKNESS
This little laptop is super tight. I take it whenever I travel and I can get about 6 solid hours of gaming out of it. Its not gonna run GTA VI, but it sure handles Fallout 3, Gungeon, Bomb Rush and the old gen STALKER games with no issues, and that’s not to mention all the older emulation titles it also runs flawlessly. The keyboard is kind of cramped though, so if you’re playing games that require WASD, be prepared to change your layout. It kind of sucks for typing in generally, but it’s so small that I can hold it on either side and just use my thumbs, so it’s not a big deal. The mouse kinda sucks too, if not a cool idea; the touchscreen is very helpful in that regard. I haven’t been able to get it to get hot, and the performance is very good if you temper your expectations; it’s basically a modern Atom like those old netbooks back in the day. All in all, excellent deal. I’ve had mine for almost a year and have had absolutely zero problems with it.

39 Day Computer! Now it's junk!
Well, this is my updated review, one day AFTER writing a glowing review, this little computer will not recharge. So disappointing, but after reading a bunch of other negative reviews it turns out I'm far from the only one to have this problem. So now I have a very pricey paperweight and it worked perfectly for exactly 39 days.Old review before the computer stopped recharging:My husband works from home, he has worked from home for about twelve years now. But we have a two story residence now and he was having to run back upstairs over and over for work stuff. He got this laptop thinking it would be nice for trips, it is small enough to fit on the tray backs on a plane or a train, but surprisingly, he has been using it at home. He is using it at my desk downstairs (it only takes up a small corner of the space and he has it plugged in there now).It is super portable, about the size of a Kindle and only slightly heavier. The keyboard works just as well as a regular sized keyboard, though it isn't as nice as his pricey mechanical keyboard (he likes the clacking noises, I don't).This little computer plus a small sized mouspad and mouse are all he needs to keep from running back upstairs everytime he comes down for coffee or a snack. It even has a built in camera and he has conducted more than a few video calls with it, the picture quality isn't great, but it's good enough for a zoom call. All in all, this isn't a toy, it's a real computer and probably one of his best tech buys in the last few years. I can't recommend it enough.

Pro and Con Review of the KOOFORWAY P8 Mini Laptop
I regretfully admit that I made an impulse purchase of the KOOFORWAY P8 Mini Laptop from Amazon. However, after using it, I have concluded that this item is a great value and offers more quality features than I initially expected. The KOOFORWAY P8 Mini Laptop is marketed as an 8-inch portable 2-in-1 device, designed for users who need a balance between compact computing performance and portability while uilitizing an Intel processor, 12GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 512GB SSD.Pros:• Portability: Weighing approximately 780 grams and measuring 19.8 cm in length and 13.8 cm in depth, the P8 is exceptionally compact, making it ideal for on-the-go use.• Build Quality: The metal exterior provides a premium feel, and the 360-degree hinge allows for seamless transitions between laptop and tablet modes.• Performance for Basic Tasks: The Intel N100 processor, combined with 12GB of DDR5 RAM, handles everyday tasks such as web browsing, document editing, and media playback efficiently.Cons:• Limited Port Selection: The device offers only one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, an HDMI 2.0 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. Notably, the USB-C port doubles as the charging port, which can be inconvenient when needing to use USB-C peripherals while charging.• Display Limitations: The 8-inch HD touchscreen has a resolution of 1280 x 800, which may not provide the sharpness and clarity some users expect. Additionally, the small screen size can make extended use challenging.• Keyboard Constraints: Due to its compact size, the keyboard layout is cramped, which may require an adjustment period for comfortable typing. The device also lacks a traditional trackpad, opting instead for a small pointing stick, which some users may find less intuitive.• Performance Limitations: While suitable for basic tasks, the Intel N100 processor may struggle with more demanding applications or heavy multitasking scenarios.• Customer Service Availability: I required technical and customersupport after having installed varions updated software and drivers which rendered my computer unable to properly execute the startup initalizing protocol. However, I was unable to reach the manufacturer for support given the difficulty in finding the contact information. In fact I've learned that many other users have likewise reported challenges in contacting KOOFORWAY’s customer service. For instance, obtaining drivers or support materials can be difficult, as highlighted in a YouTube video discussing where to find drivers for similar 8-inch mini laptops. This could be a concern for users who anticipate needing technical support or assistance. Conclusion:The KOOFORWAY P8 Mini Laptop excels in portability and offers a solid build quality, making it suitable for users who prioritize compactness and basic computing tasks. However, its limited port selection, modest performance capabilities, compact keyboard, and potential challenges with customer service may pose challenges for those seeking a more versatile or powerful device. Potential buyers should carefully consider their primary use cases and support expectations to determine if the P8 aligns with their computing needs.
