Ronin Judo Gi - Professional Made Martial Arts Uniform - Single Weave Blue Kimono - Perfect for Competition or Training

I haven't owned a Ronan Gi for over 10 years., but I recall these gis were also really nice. I started training judo again to add to my BJJ training so I purchased a few judo gis (Fuji and Ronan). Initially I bought a size 6 but it was too large so I went with a size 5. I am 5' 9" and about 235-240lbs. The listing on Amazon does not have a size chart so I found one on the Ronan website. Since this gi doesn't come in half sizes, my advice is to find the size guide and then to select a gi size that is closer to your weight as based on that size guide. So for me, this gi fits perfectly and it is great quality too. If you are looking for a solid judo gi for training I highly recommend Ronan Gi as it is a great value for the price.

My initial reaction was that it was too big! If you read the instructions on the Gi, it says to wash it first (in cold water). However, I accidentally dried it on a higher setting and the Gi shrank a little bit, but to my surprise, it shrank to the perfect size. I am a BJJ practitioner and I personally like this Gi more than my other Gis. I will be adding Ronin to my collection!

This is a solid Gi, as a Hybrid, the Jacket Cut is more of a JiuJitsu style, the sleeves are way smaller than a standard Fuji.

This gi isn't bad per se, but it is basically just a BJJ GI with a crappy flat waist tie and less patches. The quality is fine. As compared to my Fuji gi, the sleeves are way tighter which makes it hard for my partner to get grips. It is just a club style gi, so it isn't for tournaments anyway, which means the cut is just inconvenient. I laid this on top of my BJJ gis and it basically lines up with the A3s with a slightly long skirt and the diamond pattern. If you want a heavier BJJ GI with no patches, this is great. If you want a judo gi, i recommend you pay a little more to get the Fuji or try another brand that has a judo cut as opposed to a BJJ cut mascarading as a judo gi.

This is the second Ronin brand gi I have owned (I had a black one first). Great quality, and it wasn’t necessary to dry it in the dryer to shrink it down to size.

BLUE SINGLE WEAVE Finally found a blue judo go that fits me well. I really like the pants. Soft feeling like pjs. The gi is really nice. Also own this same in white as well and quality is just as good.
