Cleans OK, horrible to maintain.
Updated / rewritten after 2 years of ownership.I have owned this cleaner for over 2 years now, and the summary is that it definitely cleans effectively - but it is far from perfect.CleaningFirst, for the price (£399+£15 delivery), I would expect it to clean amazingly well, and it certainly leaves the riven slate floor far cleaner than it ever gets with a mop and bucket. However, getting down on my hands an knees with a scrubbing brush still gives the best result, especially on the grout. Cleaning that thoroughly was only ever an annual job, and this cleaner makes it possible to get good results weekly. Having said that, it is not a quick cleaner to use. Indeed, the slower you clean the better the results, so don't expect it to reduce your cleaning time, just the amount of effort it takes. With hindsight I wish we had got a cleaner earlier, the grout would probably be in a better state with more regular thorough cleaning than it got with just a mop and bucket.Build qualityFrom the outside it appears to have a robust no-nonsense design, however, after only one use a wheel broke. It is entirely possible that the wheel was faulty or damaged in transit, and the next day replacement wheel has shown no signs of failure.UseThe water tanks are easy to fill and replace, the controls are simple. Just don't expect cleaning to be any quicker than with a mop. One big bonus is that the floor is dry (or very nearly) when finished. Just a large container of very dirty water to dispose of!MaintenanceThe dirty water is sucked through two narrow tubes buried in the middle of the cleaner. There are 5 screws to undo to get to them and then some serious force to get them out. Once out they are easily cleaned. Getting them back in place is even more effort. The main problem is getting the cover back on. Everything inside has to be in exactly the right place or the cover will not fit. Even in the right place it still requires a lot of force, and then it is only a screw into cheap plastic that holds it together. The plastic might well split while you are doing this. I had to use a larger screw to bite into the plastic more firmly. There are two hoses from the dirty water tank to the cleaning head. One allows air through, the other dirty water. Inside the dirty water one is the clean water tube. This makes this hose is even more likely to block. A better design would have been to place the clean water tube in the hose used by the air, not the dirty water. These two hoses are poorly attached to the base of the unit. The cover squashes hard down on the dirty water hose in order to keep it in place. No carefully moulded plastic, just a brute force squeeze. Hence the problems getting the cover back on. The air hose is held in place with flimsy plastic and foam. Its attachment will break.AlternativesThere are very few scrubber / cleaner / driers on the market that are priced for domestic use.Kleanstone and Karcher are about the only others I could find and they are twice the price. The VAX V-120 is much cheaper and built to break if the reviews are to be believed.Vax have replaced the V-120 with the HF86-FM-D. This is only £100 with a 2 year guarantee, so looks a much better buy, whether it lasts or not.SummaryCleans very well, no back breaking effort required but it will probably not reduce the time taken to clean the floor. It is a nightmare to keep it clean enough to provide adequate suction. When I finally give up with it I currently plan to buy the Vax HF86-FM-D.I would not buy another Lavor product.

I would recommend this cleaner.
I am very pleased with the way it cleans, I wish there was a handle on the front as it is heavy and the handle where it is makes it difficult to lift on and off the tray. I have used it on tiles and wood floors with excellent results.

Value for money, does the job properly...
My experience with this product is positive in contrast to other reviews... It cleans effectively and leaves the floor dry... Carpet cleaning feature is also succesfull provided that some effort to change the brush and suction heads using screwdriver...It makes alot of noise, it is heavy, looks sturdy no problem after one year use...If you compare with Wax, Wax looks breakable, not enough pressure applies to floor for scrubbing and leaves the floor wet, tile joints usually left as it is...Karcher is another succesful scrubber drier with a much less weight but quite expensive...I suppose best one is Taski with an ability to reach near to edges though quite expensive...Considering value for money I am happy with Lavor Sprinter...

Very bad product, from day 1 i had leaking water from the tank, I bought a new rubber sealbut then i sow it was a defect in the tank itself, so i had to buy a new tank(it wasn't under warranty)after 6 month i had to replace the brushand in the last weekend theEngine warm up and stop moving

Avoid like the plague
I have had this scrubber for 2 years now, and this review is prompted by the frustration I feel. Quality of build is like it was built by school students given 3 days for a project. As with any hard working item, customer support is of paramount importance, as parts wear out. Without spare parts this scrubber becomes a "use once and throw away" item, which is at over £400 is a bit steep.Schedule of things going wrong:Week 1. Non-essential bits of plastic trim become loose and fall off, such as cover for the sprayer button (potentially exposing you to an electric shock).Week 3. Seal in the water tank fails.Week 10. Squeegee fails.I have been in touch with THREE different dealers (including asking TWICE for help of the Amazon seller) asking for spare parts, and every time greeted with silence. If I did not use silicon sealant, and a large dose of ingenuity to keep this thing going, it would be long ago in the rubbish bin.Oh, yes, it cleans, and scrubs, and does lift a very impressive amount of dirt off the floor. And I am on the market for another scrubber. I wish I bought something else.
