Might be one of the top two or three ensure spinning reels I’ve ever used
I bought a static 23, 1000,I also have a 500 of a different Shimano model.Insure, saltwater for trout, reds, and flounder. This little Raul is tough as nails.I have yet to be spooled, and I have yet to have a red, trout, or flounder here on the Texas coast, that Raul, along with a good quality, medium light, action rod, not pull in. I will be buying again.Shimano outdid themselves on remodeling this new strata 23, reminds me of my Stella

Great reel.
Wish the CI4 would make a return but this reel is a very close make it’s just a little heavy than the CI4 but its capabilities are the same. If you miss the CI4 like me, this is the closest I’ve found.

Amazing reel
I now have 3 of these reels all paired with the bull bay sniper 7'0 Rod. i put 15 lb braid on them. perfect for inshore salt water kayak fishing. love the feel and durability of this reel. I have had my first one for over a year. would recommend to anyone.

Great reel!! It’s the size 5000.
One of the best quality reels of this size and price. If you’re looking for a nice Shimano reel but this is too expensive for you I can recommend you to try the Shimano Ultegra, the model C5000Xg Fc looks just like this, same size and also great quality for less money.
