I really like it a lot!
I'm not sure why so many people out there are either having issues with this pin-pointer, or just don't like it. For the record, I've been using the carrot for a little over five years and have had zero issues with it. I know what it does, and how reliable it is.What attracted me to the Nokta AccuPOINT was the fact that it is rechargeable and the two-tone ferrous alarm. I've used it on two outings so far and I REALLY like it. People are complaining all over the place about the lack of sensitivity, to me one bar from maximum is the exact equivalent of the second sensitivity level (one down from the third) on the carrot. So for me, that's great!! The two tone ferrous alarm worked perfectly. For a while I was digging everything and the AccuPOINT was 100% accurate. Everything from nails, bottlecaps and anything with rust on it, it told me that it was crap and it was accurate. The only thing it doesn't warn you about is can-slaw (soda cans) I guess aluminum escapes from the two-tone alarm, but that's not a big deal.I've seen a lot of complaints about the menu... It's not that difficult people, take the time to learn how to navigate it. Once you get it set up, you really don't need to do much on it.If I had one thing to complain about, it is a little heavier then the carrot due to the rechargeable battery, but even that's not anything to really cry over. The benefits far outweigh my small complaint and I would definitely buy this again. The carrot has now become my backup :)

Integrates well with my Minelab 800 detector
A cut above other pinpointers. It features a very useful display window that aids in setting up the pinpointer. It worked well with my Minelab Equinox 800 Bluetooth input.

Works great
Bought for my husband. He loves it. Says it works great, catching items better than his older cheaper version. Recharges with phone charger which makes it easy and cheaper in the long run not having to buy batteries for it.

Finally, a Nokta pinpointer that detects small gold.
I have the Pulsedive Nokta pinpointer but I partly disliked it because it wouldn't detect thin gold necklaces/bracelets and small gold. Otherwise, it was a good pinpointer. Along comes the Accupoint and it has really nice features than other pinpointers. The Accupoint detects gold where the Pulsedive didn't. Also, the Accupoint has separate tones for ferrous and non ferrous. That makes a world of difference. The LED screen is bright and easy to navigate and allows the users many adjustments. The battery life is super. I highly recommend this pinpointer.

Works for me... Iron ect.. gold?
Ive tested this with 24k gold wire i use for glassblowing... It can pickup larger bits very close to it on its highest sensitivity.. Most placer/nuggets youll find will have iron, silver ect mixed in it so may pickup easier, js... experience may vary..I have a Gold Kruzer and pinpointer.. While i have mixed feels about perma batteries and buying outside of US brands.. theyve served me well.. I dont live in a heavy gold area... I pan my rivers on occasion and trash hunt. Most gold ive found is from post hole digging LOL. Its just a hobby.

what I was looking for
The media could not be loaded. very fast delivery. It feels very good quality and comes with all the necessary accessories. It really does differentiate between gold and iron. I think I'll buy another one for my father.

Causes the Legend Bluetooth connection to close when using the pin pointer
I purchased the Accupoint pin pointer so I could hear the pin pointer in my Nokta Bluetooth headphones. I have been using a different brand pin pointer and have been lifting up one side of the headphones to hear the pin pointer. I thought the Accupoint would solve this. As it turns out, you can connect the headphones to only one source at a time, either the metal detector or Accupoint.I found it difficult to pair the headphones to both the Accupoint pin pointer and Legend metal detector at the same time. After watching a couple of YouTube videos, I managed to get both to work somewhat together. Still, the Accupoint would cause the Legend Bluetooth connection to close when using the pin pointer. More than once, when turning off the Accupoint, I found that Bluetooth setting in the Legend metal detector had been turned off and I needed to go into the Legend’s settings and turn Bluetooth back on. All together, this makes it too difficult to use together. Maybe later, they’ll get this problem solved. I used to use a Garrett Ace Apex metal detector with a Z-Link pin pointer and both worked with Bluetooth headphones at the same time with no problems.

It’s ok
I have 4 different pin pointers. This one is the better one of the 4. It does false a lot though. But does also work very well. Not a bad purchase.
