Too Awkward/Wrong Placement for Accessing iPod Touch for Listening to Music When Working Out
I am returning this for a few reasons, but mainly because I don't like it's placement on the upper arm - it's just NOT comfortable for me. I thought when I got it, I could at least try it on my forearm, where I could easily access my iPod Touch, but the band is too long and isn't made for the forearm. The velcro only sticks onto a small portion at one end. With my first (strictly music), smaller iPod, I could wear the armband on my forearm because the entire band was velcro. But not with this band. It is ONLY made for the upper arm -- unless you have enormous forearms (like Brutus in POPEYE! :-). Plus, (and this is very important to me while working out), its placement on the upper arm wouldn't allow me to comfortably see and access my iPod Touch playlist in order to switch music (or do anything else on it for that matter). For those reasons, I've been researching the forearm/wrist band and have just placed an order for one. An added note for those who are chemically sensitive: There was a noticeable odor/off-gas to this band. To see if I could "air it out", I put it outside for HOURS in the cold air (around freezing), just to see if the smell would go away. It's not as bad, but the material still maintains an unpleasant odor. I do NOT recommend this band for anyone looking to easily access their iPhone or iPod Touch when using it.Return postage: I lost $6.02 to return this because it wasn't fulfilled by Amazon. Some good points: Durability wise -- it appears to be well-made. The inside pocket to hold a license or key is handy, too.

Does its job a-okay
The armband works pretty well, but I have to double over the strap to get the right fit on my bicep, and it feels a bit bulky when I do that. Initially, I thought there wasn't a headphone jack cutout for the iPhone 5S since I only saw the cutout at the top of the armband, but I found a less obvious one at the bottom. (Whew!) I've been using it for a few weeks, and unlike a previous armband from another company, this one doesn't seem to trap odors. We'll see as time goes by, though.I haven't used the key pocket since I usually work out at my gym, which has lockers, but this feature seems handy for anyone who works out on their own (e.g., goes for a run around the neighborhood).

I hope I can forget it's there, but it is not comfortable to me.
I guess I like it. I haven't worn it to the gym yet. I put it on at home over a shirt sleeve. I didn't realize how heavy my phone was. I didn't take the Otter case off. Obviously that would waste a lot of time and also leave my phone vulnerable to breaking, so I think it would be crazy to take it out of the Otter. I think it will work okay, but comfortable it's not. I don't wear bracelets either because they annoy me, so it's probably just me.

Cannot be beat!
I have recently begun working out again, and I thought I would give this product a go. SO glad I did! This product is light, breathes well, is phenomenally constructed, and works. It looks like it can be adjusted for pretty much any arm size (I have small-to-medium arms), and even has a special pocket for my gym card and locker key! I always hated having to put those someplace when I was working out, and now I don't have to worry about that anymore!Overall, more than worth the money. It feels great on my skin, is FAR better than I thought it would be, and is just what the doctor ordered.I have also spoken with the company, and they are very polite and kind. They even sent me a follow-up email asking how things were going, with directions on how to use it!Thanks a ton!

We've tried others, but THIS one stands up to the use!!
My son is non-verbal and uses an iPod Touch with special voice software on it to communicate. We're teaching him to use the iPod out in the community and, hopefully, prepare him for employment when he graduates high school. Since he cannot hold the iPod in his hands and function at the same time, we needed to put the unit into an armband that would allow him to use the iPod and protect it. We tried several types without much success when I found this armband...and it is working beautifully! Heavy duty strap, strong Velcro that snugs it onto the arm and fully encompassing enclosure that keeps the iPod protected while still permitting its use on the go. I believe that my son will have this armband for quite some time.

Hot Chafing
Here's the thing, this band is hot and digs into my arm as I run. This isn't really a big deal for short runs, 30 to 45 minutes. I can see this becoming a huge issue when the I'm out for hours at a time. Major chafeage awaits. No amount of Glide will stop that. There has to be a better way to carry a phone on long runs.

the velro is good quality. Card slot will fit two cards snug
It works, the velro is good quality. Card slot will fit two cards snug, or one with a couple of bills. The key slot fits a house key. The band over all is nice, just a little too small if you have larger arms or are running in the winter with a fleece. I would recommend this to a friend.

Good armband
I have been using this armband for several weeks and I am really happy with my purchase. It is simple and practical for working out. It can fit my iPod, which has a very thick case, and it has a good access to the touchscreen.Good product.
