Love this so much! Got it today and have used to make a delicious coffee. I didn't expect the little pot at the base to be glass and was delighted that it was. It's smaller than I expected (clearly I don't know how to read descriptions!) and it's all very satisfying size to hold. Grinds well, makes about 2 shots worth of coffee per go. Perfect. So good for even twice the price :)

Excellent product..Can grind extremely fine..Perfect for stove top coffee posts/espresso makes. Very reasonably priced too. Good starter level coffee grinder. The difference in taste is very obvious.

Don’t often write reviews but this has changed the quality of my coffee so much that I had to. Forget electric grinders (I’ve tried 2 now) - this gets it right every time and the micro adjustments make it so easy to play with the size of the grind. Helps to make the perfect espresso.

Performs better than expected. Easy to use and good exercise for the arms! Several grind options but even on the finest setting doesn’t grind smoothly enough for espresso. Even so although a bit roughly ground it makes good coffee and not burnt like some electric grinders.

Good quality grinder. I’ve been using this for several months and have found it to be excellent. The glass jar means there is no build-up of static, which happened with my electric stainless steel bean grinder. The result is that all the coffee grinds can be poured into my cafetière without needing to scrape them out of the receptacle. The grinding wheels/burrs can be adjusted to a pretty fine grade. I don’t know if the grounds are fine enough for a paper filter but are perfect for the steel mesh of my cafetière. Some reviewers of manual coffee bean grinders complain that it takes a long time to grind the beans. It only takes about a minute and is a pleasant meditative part of making my morning coffee. If I was in that much of a rush I’d have a cup of instant (if instant wasn’t quite so disgusting!).

Ordered this to replace my ten year old Hario Mini that finally died. Very sturdy with a solid glass base, so should take a drop or two and grinds to the same quality on the various settings but significantly quicker. Very good value for those on a budget looking for a daily or travel manual grinder. The handle being attached to the lid may make storage an issue.
