Check your split pins and connectors properly before you move off or you will lose them like I did.
So the first fitting kit I fitted went on great until I drove to a family members house and upon showing them what I had fitted I realised that the split pin had sheared off and lost one of the connectors off the end of the gas strut. Thinking I had fitted it worn I ordered another set to replace the missing part , also thinking now I will have spare parts for the future. Upon fitting the new part I tried the tail gate up and down a couple of times and the split pins broke off again!!! I am now left with No split pins to secure the gas strut to the tail gate which is really disappointing!! I think that the split pins are of a soft metal and no good for this product.

Rubbish
Not fit for purpose. Locking pin falls off bolt with slightest of pressure, then strut collapses. Useless. However I did receive full refund which was very fair of them

DO NOT BUY THESE!
This is a piss poor design. Each time the tailgate is closed the bottom of the damping struts acts like a guillotine and cuts the split pins. With no pin the strut will come off the fixing. I have tried different size pins fitted both ways from the top and bottom but no successes. DO NOT BUY THESE!

These are good to start but the split pins rust and snap and mine have snapped completely so will last a year so not great would not advise buying from this supplier or this brand

This product is not worth buying only been on my vehicle for less than two months and broken now got to find a replacement

Very happy with these struts. Well worth the buy.

Poor quality of all pieces, should have read the comment prior ordering ! I managed to install the left side thanks to other buyers pictures, but the right broke. Now I have to extract the piece of steal blocked and reinstall remove your product unless you send me another part that broke. Thanks
