Just a bit different from the norm....
Having taken delivery of a rather magnificent custom built SuperStrat last year, I never felt that it's case did it justice. The black case with black lining didn't show off the wonderful maple sunburst cap and highly figured neck with its ebony board and elaborate inlays, so it was time to look for something more suitable for a guitar of such high status.I'd looked at various 'tweed' jobs but many had the same black lining which can cause problems for Nitro Cellulose guitars as the pigment can 'bleed' into the guitar particularly when it's fresh. So I opted for this Gator case in the knowledge that if I didn't like it or it wasn't a good fit Amazon would take it back no problem. It arrived within 24 hours and boy was I pleased when I opened the package. It has a fantastic distressed mocha leather/suede exterior with darker leather (faux) end caps and handle. Clasps and hinges are in gold colour which contrast nicely. The interior is well fitted and looks about the same colour as in the photo (pale coffee) and is of a luxurious soft plush. It's no lightweight either and should stand the rigours of road use, with plenty of space for leads stings and strap in the hinged internal compartment. If you want to protect your guitar, and simply get a buzz every time you open the case - this is the one to go for.

An excellent case but the kitsch interior is a bit over the top
Sometimes, when writing a review you have to pause to decide whether an aesthetic issue is actually all that important when compared against usefulness and whether an item is fit for purpose. In this case it's the interior which is a shocking pink that made me stop to think. There's also a silky cover attached to the case by straps which allow it to be folded over the top of your instrument. The strap which stops the lid falling back is as fluffy as the fluffiest cuddly toy. The only word to describe all this pinkness is KITSCH.But is that enough to deduct a star?Does the case do a good job?Is it strong and well built?Does it protect your guitar and can you store a good amount of accessories inside the interior compartment? My experience of using this case suggests that all four answers have to be 'Yes'.I don't think I'd recommend this case for heavy gigging but if you're doing that, you'll probably be looking for a much stronger case anyway. For general day-to-day use + storage + safely moving your guitar by carrying it in a car or van, it does a good job. As can be seen in the montage of photos that I've attached to this review, the accessory compartment can hold a good amount of items. If you transport several pedals (especially any needing power transformers) you will probably already have a pedalboard or maybe a different type of strengthened case such as the 'Armourdillo Lightweight Hard-Foam Case for Full-Size Electric Guitars'.So - interior aesthetics aside - the case gets a full 5 stars from me. I don't leave it open to admire the inside, so those aesthetic issues are irrelevant to how well the case does its job.

Nice mid-tier case that fits some guitars
Note: this review is for what Amazon lists as "Brown", the rectangular wooden case.Personally, I love the vintage look of the case. It has an aged brown leather appearance offset nicely by the gold-plated hardware. It looks older than it is, which I like. The case is very lightweight given that's it's made out of (ply)wood. It doesn't work for all guitars. A Les Paul shape fits like a glove and is totally snug. Telecaster fits with a bit of wiggle room. Jazzmaster does not remotely fit.I haven't taken this case on the road yet. It appears fairly sturdy, although I can get a bit of flex out of the wood with my thumbs. I suspect that it wouldn't hold up very well to abuse and I doubt the case will last as long as the guitar I'm putting in it. Maybe it's tougher than it feels. In terms of the hinges/clasps/etc., it's a mixed bag. The feet are gold-coloured plastic although everything else seems to be metal. Some parts seem a little on the thin side. Clasps are reasonably sturdy. Keys are included if you want to deter thieves who don't also want a case for their new acquisition. The interior of the case is nicely plush. A compartment for whatever you might want to stow is handy and a decent size, although I don't really have a use for it.Overall, I think I'd hoped the case would feel a bit sturdier, although I could be underestimating it. Otherwise, this is a nice mid-tier case with a great vintage look - if it fits your guitar. For the price I paid (£50) it would be hard to complain. If it crumples at the first sign of trouble or turns out to be as tough as a Roland Micro Cube I'll endeavour to update this review.

Good value hard case for 335 style guitar
Bought for an Epihpone Riviera Custom P93 Electric Guitar which fits perfectly. Inside material is a deep pink colour which might be offputting for some, but suits the red wine colour of the guitar. Includes a thin fabric cover to protect the top of the guitar. Good sized internal compartment for storing accessories. Build quality could be a little better, fabric does not appear to be well glued or cut precisely in places; I'm being picky here but to some people the smaller details are important to know if comparing to more expensive cases. The case does feel sturdy, and given the price is nearly £30 cheaper than the genuine Epiphone case for the guitar, I think that overall it is good value for money.

Awesome Guitar Case 10/10 Would Roccomend
I’ve only had the case a few days, but it is very beautiful and robust. It has a lovely suede outer and a very plush interior. Its very well made and you can tell. Its a fair weight, but I wouldn’t say it was too heavy. You won’t regret buying it. It fits my Ibanez rg370 perfectly, and would fit most strat or telly style guitars. I bought it on prime, the delivery could have been better took four days to arrive, and I had to email amazon about it, it should have been next day. It arrived in a monster of a carboard box very well protected, which I thought was a little ironic because I bought thos case because I wanted something that could take a bit of abuse. I will update this review once I’ve had the case for a few months. So far it has been incredible!

Nice wood cases are what’s expected in high end guitars. In today’s rising manufactures costs coupled with shipping Gator has filled an excellent niche with a case that rivals the best USA or Canada case manufactures. Then add free shipping and it’s a complete WIN at these prices with boutique quality.

Decent Case With Just A Few Flaws.
If your Guitar costs $1000 or more I would look elsewhere. But mine cost just over $200 so that has to be factored into my review and rating for the case. The case was a recommended fit for my Washburn C5CE Classical Cutaway Acoustic-Electric guitar. It hugs the guitar well allowing no movement of the instrument inside the case.It seems to be constructed well but I have some concerns about taking it out in the rain as there is no seal around the inside of the lid and the tolex covering is not stitched at the bottom. It is glued on there and in the case I received it was pulling away in two small areas. The accessory compartment is just adequate for a classical style guitar but IMO if you were to put a steel string guitar in this case you would be taxing the capacity of the compartment with a strap a tuner some polish cloths extra strings and a pick tin. Also, the lid for the accessory compartment is not hinges or attached in any way other than by the fabric lining of the case. Mine had a small tear in it so I don't dare use it for fear that over time the fabric will completely tear away and the lid would then be unattached and useless.Lastly, For protection of your instrument around the hose or for getting from point A to point B by car or walking it will do a fine job. I would not, however, trust this case if you were traveling by plane or train. It is not sturdy enough for that kind of use.For the price I think it could be a little better quality but seems to match others in the price range well.I'd recommend with just a little bit of caution.
