I bought this wonderful clock. But cannot get the tail to swing back and forth. Is there some setting or screws I need to undo for it to start moving?

Seems the Pendulum (tale) swings usually fast, should it? It's swinging at rate where I hear it hitting each side at the bottom.

Mine hits too. I asked the seller- they offered for me to return and replace, but my other half doesn't seem to be distracted by it. The pendulum swings fast....it's battery operated- not sure if there is a control in the back to slow it or not.
