I love to help my daughter anticipate upcoming special events. The "Night Before" series books are perfect for this! Out of all of the ones that I own, I think the Valentine edition is my favorite because of the illustrations. They are so cute and the details are so sweet... my almost-4yo daughter LOVES it! Just look at the cover... the sweethearts say, "Hold Me," "Read Me," "Buy Me." The snowman on the first page is a cupid. In the library scene, there is a copy of this book in the background. The list goes on. Definitely a sweet book to enjoy with your special Valentine!

We have many of the other "Night Before..." books and love, love, love them. While the exact rhyme and rhythm might not be the same as Clement Moore's original for Christmas, it all seems to show up, somehow. The illustrations are vivid and the book an overall quick read -- to an excited child anticipating the next day's Event.Colorful (and creative) handmade valentines and a goofy principal's getup, with a surprise classroom gift, make this a fabulous story.You cannot go wrong for the $5-bucks. It's even better, and more lasting, than the $5-bucks on chocolate/candy you give out the next day. I'd almost guarantee your kids/grandkids will enjoy and/or ask for this book....next year.

My daughter (almost 5 now) and I love these books! They are not too long, not too short, and super fun! We have almost all of them, she loves to read them all the time especially the 'Night Before' whatever holiday or event the book is about. We started originally with the Night Before Preschool The Night Before Preschool August (2016) to help ease her into preschool a bit, we bought 10 other titles from this series since then and plan to expand the collection as time goes on.

This book arrived in good time but I cannot remember the date. The packaging was OK. The take off theme from The Night Before Christmas sounded like a good idea. The reviews for it were good saying it was fun for children to read or have read to them. I know the author has written many other books on this theme. I gave it to our church bookstore. I do not know if anybody purchased it for their child or relative.CU

My one and three year olds love all the books we have in this series. Fun, rhyming book to help teach about the holiday.

I just loved this story! So did my PreK class! I will continue to order more of the night before stories! The latest one I ordered was the night before st. Patrick’s day! I can’t wait to read it to my students!

My 2 1/2 year old daughter and I both love this book. We also have the night before fathers day and the night before halloween which we both love as well.

I really love Natasha Wing's stories and can't wait to read this one to my french pupils. The rhyming words are a nice way for them to improve their English pronunciation.

The corners of the book are beat up and there seems to be permanent marker on the bottom of the book, too.As per usual, Natasha Wing delivered!

It's a cute book about getting ready for a class Valentine's party. The page about thw boys trying to kiss the girls was antiquated, but I glued those two pages together and nothing in thw story wA lost. 4/5☆
